Nicklas Jensen

So many people think he is a great player, I don't think he is bad myself. Anyways do you think he will be ready next season? or does he still have a few years to go. I personally would play him on the third line with Schroeder and Raymond and see how he does but what do you guys think?

EDIT: I think that is the piece missing on the Raymond Schroeder line "Jensen"

My lines:

Sedin-Sedin-Burrows
Higgins-Kesler-Booth
Raymond-Schroeder-Jensen
Volpatti-Lapierre-Weise

Notes: Malhotra's contract is done and will probably be gone same with Lapierre hopefully we sign one of them same with Raymond. But Malhotra would be good to resign for a year for faceoffs.

Could use a year in the AHL, maybe two depending on how the first one goes.

i see him getting time with the canucks in his first year. i predict he'll goto the ahl, get called up eventually the same season and stick. i think with his frame and skillset and considering hes playing with men, it should be an easy jump

i watched the first 2 periods and he was pretty invisible, though the game was super boring and there wasn't really any good chances for anyone. he took a penalty for getting his stick up on some guy.

just one game though. can't be a standout in them all

He's also been injured for the past bit, his first game back. We'll see how he does further in.

I kind of have that feeling too. But I seriously don't think he will be playing till he is 21 which is the season after. I really hope he can prove his self next season and form a third line of Raymond-Schroeder-Jensen Hmmm maybe put Hansen on the second line and Higgins on the forth to replace Weise?

i predict higgins to be gone next year with raymonds improved play and upcoming youngsters, as much as i like him. both of their contracts are up and we're tight to the cap

we'll see though

Ahhh I see I am looking at NHLnumbers right now and Higgins contract is over. So Kassian could get a better role if no free agents are signed. I am trying to make some lines but I think this off season the team is going to go through some changes because

Free Agents:

Manny (Days may be over in Vancouver)

Raymond (Probably resign him for a year or two)

Higgins

Lapierre

Schroeder(Need to resign)

Weise

Pinizotto

Ebbett(Thank goodness)

Volpatti (Resign either Volpatti or Pinizotto)

Alberts

Tanev (Resign)

Barker

Lou needs to be traded to help open up cap space for a 2nd line player possibly?

Higgins and Hansen are fantastic 3rd liners. I hope we can keep the duo next year. They may not put up points consistently (hence not 2nd liners...) but they work ALL day and are good on the defensive side of the puck.

Just curious. Where does Kassian fit in this lineup?

Hansen is just a beast all over the ice. He would get some selke consideration if he wasn't overshadowed by Kesler and burrows every year.

If it were me, I'd move Booth before Higgins. Higgins is a lot like Hansen - can play on any line and can even play centre. A skilled utility guy like that is much better than a one dimensional guy like Booth.

According to Canucks Army, it's also possible that MG and LG were scouting Jeremy Langlois, currently in his senior season at Quinnipiac - if invitees to past prospect development camps are anything to go by (Laganiere in 2011, Langlois in 2012).

No dude. No. A lot of you haven't seen the real Booth yet. He was beginning to find himself before his knee injury. He was a physical best in the playoffs. The guy goes to the net HARD. Something this team needs. I can't wait to see this team when they're fully healthy.

He had two excellent net rushes in the first period, showed speed, power and stickhandling.

I tried to watch, but the game was pretty damn boring. I missed the first goal.

Ok so, Jensen played an average game.

He had 4shots on goal and took a stupid penalty.
To his defence the whole Denmark team played sub standard.

They were trying too focus on the Defensive aspect of the game, as that has always in the past been lackluster. So first thing for them was to get a shutout, which they got.

The tactical build up for the game, wasn't really suited too players like Jensen.

Our 3rd line grinders were arguably the best line on the ice and the players we normally expect stuff from were not really there.

Also Jensen is very new to the senior team, and has not yet developed propper chemistry with the team.

Denmark are playing again tonight 8pm against Slovenia (12AM Vancouver time.)

The streams are available from the same place as last, and the site should be safe.
My computer is VERY VERY proctected, and I was able to enter the site without any warnings.

Also, remember this is very important for Denmark, so guys like Jensen wont be getting massive amounts of TOI in these games as players with more experience are relied upon. I im not certain but I think most of the 3rd line played more than Jensen did.

And YES - it was indeed a VERY boring game! But the coaches were satisfied as they wanted to have a solid performance from the D. The game today should be a different one style wise.

K-Wings are tied 1-1 in the first period and Mallet has their only goal.

just added an assist as well. Seems to be gaining more confidence as the season goes on. I'd love to see him get an opportunity with the Wolves on one of the top three lines where he can get plenty of ice time. Probably will have a lot more success now that he has gained some confidence ,not to mention the talent level across the AHL was a lot higher than it is now.

He could be another Burrows for this team if we develop him properly.

Currently +3 and has 3 shots so far (yes, I'm a little obsessed with shooting now haha). Added a shorthanded assist to boot - now a 3 point game for him so far. He's been playing on the 2nd line as of late, from what I've been able to gather.

Myron is also in the lineup too, with one hooking minor.
