Interesting. I'll tentatively agree with the idea, since I do agree Emelin could play the PP. I would just feel its unfair to Diaz who has played well. However:

Markov-Emelin
Gorges-Subban
Big Dman-Boullion
Diaz

Does not look bad at all.

PP:
Markov-Subban
Boullion-Emelin

PK:
Gorges-Subban
Emelin-Big Dman
Markov-Boullion

Problem is we've seen this scenario happen COUNTLESS times. This isn't some blip on the radar screen. This team has been a lead blowing machine for far too long and it just gets frustrating. We simply lack a killer instinct and an ability to finish the job, no matter who is on the ice, in net or behind the bench. I think we've blown either a 2 goal lead or a 1 goal lead late in the game to Buffalo about 10 times since 2005. It's a joke.

Already this year, THREE 2 goal leads have been blown and add in the game last night and it's 4 blown leads that should not have happened if you look at normal NHL percentages when leading. It's not a good sign. And you can't even say it happens because we just sit back all the time anymore.

I'm generally happy with the team, I guess it's better to see one or two players mess up the 2 points for us than when it's the entire team.. but it's definitely more frustrating. I don't feel bad for White right now, once is fine, twice is annoying but I could give him the benefit of the doubt, but three times means get out of my sight as far as I'm concerned. I'm not saying trade him, but he needs to be benched until he cools off his hot head. There's emotion and stupidity, the two don't mix well together.

Something is bothering me other than the White.

10 games in the season and the Cole-DD-Pacioretty line is not working.
All minus 2 tonight.

But worst....we saw many many great chances from the Plek line.
A couple of good chance for the line of Galchy
Even Eller got one or two chances.

But the DD line has been the most invisible line.

They are not playiing badly....but they don't put up any goals out there.
DD got 2 out 3 goals playing with Eller.
Cole got 1 out of 2 gaols playing with Galchy
Pacioretty...not a single one.

Time to break that line is coming soon.

I think White is just immature but i'll never be mad at a player trying to beat the **** out of the bum Steve Ott. What a gutless puke, just like McQueen. NHL should really think about getting rid of the instigator. It has gotten ridiculous.

Scratch Diaz who is pretty good on the PP while giving Emelin MORE time? Emelin has been one of our worst dmen why would we reward him for being a total liability?

Markov - Kaberle
Subban - Gorges
Boullion - Diaz
Emelin

PP
Markov - Diaz
Subban - Kaberle

PK
Gorges - Subban
Markov - Boullion

That should be the pairings until Emelin decides if he wants to keep up his ****** play or not.

Being a winger on a line centered by DD takes a physical toll as they need to compensate for DD's size.

Time to try DD on the wing and give Eller a shot at top 6 center.

Yep. Bad timing though. All Habs fans remember this. Stewart took a penalty but it changed the momentum of the game and we won it.

I don't know why he keeps gambling against division rivals. I know both times were back to back game situations but Price has the endurance to play the rest of the season if he wanted to. If you're going to play Budaj FFS play him against weak conference opponents and not division teams we're trying to keep up with.

Completely untrue. He's been a bit up and down so far, but he's had plenty of good games. His puck handling and his decision making are way better than last year, and his size and hitting are unique in our smallish Dcore. Not to mention his hits rarely ever put him out of position, and he hits clean and hard. Look at the corps you're suggesting. Soft, soft, soft. To replace Emelin with Kaberle would be such a poor decision to say the least.

No, I don't think the instigator penalty is ridiculous. As we saw in the previous game against the Sabres, Brandon Prust can put down Ott. He would be cleverer about it and wouldn't risk a 3rd period lead. White's trademark seems to be getting called for 4 minute penalties at unfortunate times.

Put Diaz in and the big dman is Tinordi, IMO that's the plan for next season we're in a transition.

I'm all for Tinordi next year. I just thought we could use some D depth for a potential Playoff berth.

Thoses guys cost waaaay too much on the trade market IMO and it should be a pretty old/Ufa veteran type since Tinordi is coming.

In a perfect world we could get Doug Murray for cheap, but that will not happen and then again I think that Markov, Subban, Gorges and Emelin aren't going anywhere and I'm not confortable with only Markov and Subban that are good on the PP so Diaz is a pretty good option there.
