PIT - MMG: is it possible?

Is it possible to make a trade between two different leagues?

to PIT:
Mozyakin

to Metallurg:
Tangradi
Niskanen

It more than likely isnt possible. Besides that, mozyakin has it pretty good in Russia (one of the highest paid players in the khl), so unless you're willing to pay up for an unproven player in North America, it won't happen. Hasn't niskanen been solid this year too?

Doesn't make sense for either team, not that it could happen anyway.

Beyond all of the players agreeing to it, there isn't any way to get around the waiver process in the NHL for Mozyakin.

Does we (Columbus) still own his rights? Just curious. We've known for a long time that he's content to stay home, make bank and be one of the best players in the KHL.

I think so.

With that in mind...it'll take more than Tangradi and Niskanen to get his rights from Columbus.

Perhaps he never goes to any NHL team not having Malkin. Pens have him .

Then the Pens might have to deal with the Jackets, in addition to Metallurg.

I'd love to send Tangradi to Russia. He's horrible. I just want Shero to waive the guy, he's hopeless.

Trade him for the ingredients to make a tub of borscht for Malkin

Maybe I am touchy, but you are not trading Nisky to Russia (or Ohio ). Jeez, one would think there were rules against it.

Also, someone needs to get Crosby drunk and tell him to make more friends. Otherwise he is never getting a winger.

I believe when a player signs he has an agreement that falls under NHL collective bargaining, and would not be eligible, or would have to agree to be allowed to go to the KHL.

Imagine how thrilled Niskanen and Tangradi would be if they found out they'd been traded to Russia...
