As an outsider looking in, that might be what you'd value him at, but the Caps wouldn't move him for that price. Brouwer is tied for 3rd on the team in goals and for 5th in points from forwards. Using stats from the dysfunctional Caps team compared to overall league numbers isn't really a fair way to evaulate him. He is also one of the top PKers and surprisingly decent on faceoffs when he's been on Ribeiro's line since Ribeiro is terrible in the dot.
