First pic of the 30 mill in improvements to Sports Authority Field. Supposedly the South End Jumbotron is gonna be 30% larger when all is said and done...coincidently my season ticket renewal form arrived via e-mail today. Haven't logged in to see if my tix went up. But I'm gonna guess thy did.

Very cool, I didn't realize they were doing that. My tickets went up 10%. I haven't seen the form yet as it's sent to a friend, what's the due date on the renewal?

Another guy I wonder about being cut is Ayres. Wolfe's emergence makes for Ayres pre-rookie cap 1st round salary expensive for a rotational player.

I'd rather trade Doom than cut Ayers. I think Ayers will be better than Dumervil sooner rather than later....

Ayers looked great when he got the opportunity and Dumervil is going to crash hard. He looked really average last year

I didn't think so, but I will say he has a harder time fighting through the blatant/obvious holds that o-linemen get away with (something I really, really despise the NFL brass for) because of his size. But I still think he's an above-average pass rusher. I think if you further strengthen the linebacking and DT corps, you'll see more from him. I thought those two areas were our most glaring weaknesses, even with some promising turns from Wolfe.

I still don't get the child like faith in Ayres. A soviegneer from living in Joshtown, Guyana?

His had two years in the 4-3 and still hasn't shown much. Granted this is a contract year, but I say make Wolfe a full time DE and put his $3 mill+ towards improving our weaker positions.

Cause Doom is a one trick pony, and that's pass rush. He's awful on run defense, and when he isn't putting any pressure on the QB, he's useless (IE the Baltimore game). Most of his sacks usually comes when the game is out of hand/4th quarter and the opposing team is just throwing on every down.

March 4th is the due date for the first deposit. The rest is usually due sometime in late June/early July.

I'd rather keep them both. But yeah, Doom hasn't been the same since he got hurt a few years back.

All the Revis to Denver rumors tend to have us trading Doom and a #1 or #2 to the Jets.

If it was a #2, I'd pull the trigger on that. If it was our first, I'd ask for a #2 and #4 back.

He'll no! Weaken our front 7, cost a pick that needs to go towards the same area pushes Harris to nickle and adds a $9 mill contract for a player coming off an ACL.

We have a glut of DEs right now (Wolfe, Ayers, Doom) and you could move one of the CB's to safety.

I wouldn't give up a #1 for Revis without getting additional picks back for sure.

One thing I am worried about though - I don't think Champ could make the transition to safety. Like I've said before, dude is the best from 1-15 yards but he is so susceptible to the long ball. Plus you lose the best part of his game - solo tackles on the edge vs. the run game. But in 1-2 years I feel like his body is finally going to give way.

I understand being reluctant to pay a heavy price, especially given the injury, but I think you're underestimating what an amazing player Revis is.

We've already got an amazing corner and in Revis' career the Jets finished 20th, 6th, 1st, 18th, 19th against. He can't carry a defense and would eat up cap space and assets needed down the middle. i don't even want the Broncos spending a 1st or 2nd on a corner in the draft.

I also doubt the impending stardom of a player with 6.5 career sacks, who had 8 tackles last year.

And in proper rugby England made themselves firm favourites for the six nations after a not particularly high scoring but brutal battle against Ireland

I was surprised that game wasn't televised here, couldn't find it anywhere on DirecTV. Last weekends games were.

That is strange. With England vs Ireland and France vs Wales it really was a massive weekend.

I have a feeling the Broncos have a good corner, no longer an amazing one. Not too many 35 year old amazing corners out there.

That said, I wouldn't touch anything that would/could lessen Miller's impact, as he's the best thing about Denver's defense. And taking away the rush on his opposite side would lessen his impact.

DT/MLB are the big areas on defense to fill, IMO. I do think they need a depth CB also, as I believe Tony Carter really stinks. Though Bolden is sitting there......
