Nope. Davy probably has to go. I'm afraid to say this, but Zarek Valentin might have to go as well he's at around a 100k cap hit, but has Jeb Brovsky on his ass that costs 3x less. For all we know though, NDS could pull a rabbit out of his hat and find some allocation $$ from another club

Valentin is on a Generation contract. Doesn't count.
Did you guys already received your season tickets and should I start to put pressure on the Impact's marketing guy?
I called them to change the delivery address like 2-3 weeks ago and when on the phone the rep said to expect the tickets some time during the last 2 weeks of February.
I thought it was because they couldn't afford to pay him.
Nyassi is also around 130k so he could be a trade option.
If he was Generation Adidas he would have been automatically protected at the draft when we joined MLS. So it's safe to say without even verifying that he was not GA anymore.
Obviously I'd rather keep Valentin over Arnaud but if Arnaud is too hard to move I could see Valentin being the one moved. He would also fetch a better return considering the player. He is not worth his salary in a cap world on this montreal team, unfortunately.
Ideally I'd keep both though... sucks we are over the cap.

Would be really stupid to trade Valentin IMO. He's a perfect RB for any MLS club, not good enough to play in Europe, yet a young player that have the potential to be one of the best RBs in the MLS.
If Arnaud or Mapp are unmovable, then as much as it saddens me because I like him but I'd rather trade Nyassi than Valentin.

I wouldn't say Valentin is 'awesome' as a soccer player, he's not spectacular and has many limitations, but he's got a great personality I agree.

Hes not amazing, hes not bad. Hes a good MLS player; but also a great guy in the locker room. Goofball, I hope the Impact don't compromise the future due to big contracts on players like Arnaud
If the coaches decide to play the 4-3-3, then I'd like to keep Nyassi because his speed is going to come in handy. As for Arnaud, he's the player that the Impact should be looking at dumping because he doesn't fit in this formation.
Is there any chance we could restructure his contract or has a deadline passed for that? I know we did for Mapp but was that opportunity only granted due to another reason?
