Joe Colborne

Colborne's a Calgary boy, Nemisz is an Ontario kid. Both players were former 1st round picks in 2008 (Colborne -16, Nemisz - 25). Both players are close to - if not already - being labelled as busts. A change of scenery might benefit both.

Fair trade?

I'll keep Colborne.

Still think he can be a pretty good 3rd line C if not higher.

Leafs still value Colborne. He's big, they can find some use for him.

I don't know. Your guy seems closer to being a bust than our guy, though I could be wrong. If we're trading long shots, though, it has to be a centre for a centre. So, no trade for us.

Nope. Colborne has actually done something in the AHL and shown signs of a pulse in the NHL.

Niemsz has been a bust, Colborne is still developing.

No chance this is a fair deal

Nemisz is a guy I'd like to have in the Leafs organisation, but not at the price of Colborne.

Colborne is now 6'6 and finding his game, not a player you want to give up on

Big no thanks. 6`6 center icemen with good hands, and vision are hard to find.

Colborne is not a bust. Played very well early last year - got hurt - and played all year with a wrist injury. Had off season surgery and is just starting to pick it up after a slow start. Still hope for Colborne and at 6'5" it will take him a little longer than most to grow into his frame.

They both suck and probably have little future outside of 4th line roles in the nhl Colbornw might be a third liner is everything goes well, its really swapping ahl players more than anything.

Nemisz is a bust so I doubt Toronto does this, even if Colborne's upside isn't as high as it once was.

Funny thing is with the exception of the injury details and Colborne being a couple inches taller that was what I was going to say about Nemisz. The 2 players are extremely similar in every aspect it's almost eerie.

You need to follow more than just statistic my friend. Nemisz has struggled this year but was very good in the previous 2, that does not make him a bust.

The fact that he is actually regressing instead of progressing makes it very apparent that he is a bust. Not just a step back, but many steps back. I don't know what else to call three points in 28 games.

Colborne may not be as promising a prospect as he once was, but the Leafs probably shouldn't give up on a 6'5'' project center. Hopefully he can have a healthy season one of these years and show us what he can really do.

Colborne at least still has some upside. Nemisz, well lets just say he'll be lucky to play 20 more NHL games.

**** no; no chance in hell.

Calgary has absolutely nothing to benefit the Leafs; which is saying a lot.

I'm not claiming to have watched him extensively. 3 points in 28 games after a couple of decent seasons is completely inexcusable. You keep saying 'I've watched him play' and yet, don't seem to offer any opinion apart from 'yeah, he's struggling, but he played well in the past.'

Tell me something I don't know.

We're talking about the Toronto Maple Leafs, right?
