Yes, but the transition for him to change from Heel to Face was much easier back then.

Absolutely. It's stunning. Call me naive, but how would that have been done so perfectly?

They can turn him because the male demo cheers for him anyways

I believe lesnar and punk should be tweeners. Wrestling has changed. The line between heel and face isn't what it used to be.

Do we really believe Taker, being semi retired, will end his streak at this point, even to the Rock?

Taker putting over Rock at Wrestlemania to end his streak and allow both men to really retire would be absolutely epic.

I think Undertaker should retire with the streak. They had the chance to end it with Randy Orton at Wrestlemania 21 and didn't do it. That would have been the opportunity to put over a young guy to end it and build him up as a star. They didn't do it. Now, there's no point in ending it, especially if it's against The Rock, who's a part-timer who won't gain as much from it as an upper-midcard superstar would.

It's gone too far to end it, IMO. Let Undertaker retire with it.

No question that Taker retires undefeated.

Pfft, clearly Cena is going to end the streak...against all odds! In a hell in a cell match...with Paul Bearer as special guest referee!

Agreed. It was the perfect moment, being The Legend Killer and all.

Rock vs undertaker but it would have to be a double count out then they both retire.

It's ****ing Wrestlemania with two of the biggest stars ever. You don't have a double countout finish. What the hell is that? You have Undertaker go over.

I really hope that the Minnesota Killing Machine(Lesnar) botches on CM Punk, thus resulting in punk not being on tv for a year or two

Not really. All he would have had to have done is come back and beat the crap out of heels instead of attacking Vince. The crowd goes nuts when his music hits.

Sure, Paul Bearer would turn on Undertaker for like the 100th time ?

Yes, take the best full time all around performer off TV for a year or two. Wonderful idea.

- As previously reported, WWE is still looking to book Brock Lesnar vs. The Rock for WWE Summerslam. Word is that there was once discussion about doing the match for WrestleMania 29, but that was when Lesnar's deal was set to expire. Now that Lesnar has signed on for another two years, the push is to have the match at Summerslam.

One thing that got the match changed from WM 29 was that WWE wanted the Rock in the WWE Title picture, and Lesnar schedule was seen as an obstacle to booking a WWE Title feud with the two. Another reason that WWE is looking to have that match at Summerslam is because both have mainstream appeal, and that with them in a featured spot, the local Hollywood community could get more involved with the event. An example would be having celebrities appearing at the WWE AXXESS event.

The best based on the fact that he's the best combination of mic work and in ring work in the company on a full time basis? the only guy with a better combination of the two is Jericho who floats in and out nowadays.

Oh, and he just had one of the best title runs in history, so clearly it's not just the IWC that thinks he's something special.

At this time, the planned main event for Wrestlemania XXX is Brock Lesnar vs. The Rock. It is also the reason they have been kept away from each other on WWE TV.

WON

Not sure I'd like to see Punk vs. Lesnar. If it's anything like Punk and Ryback - where Punk was thrown around like a ragdoll and wasn't even competitive...I just don't care to see it. i think they've devalued CM Punk enough during the Ryback/Rock feuds.

Brock can actually wrestle and sell moves.
a match with Punk would make him look better than any match he would have against cena or hhh or Rock.... Punk is simply the best wrestler out of that choice.

no way it looks as bad as Punk vs Ryback.
