Great period. Briere is still killing all offensive pressure though

Poor first five minutes or so, but the rest of the period was very strong.

Thanks for the effort. I'll give it one more go, but if it's too annoying I'm stickin w/ the radio. Plus if they lose I blame you because they did score once I switched to Saunders & Bundy.

Giroux has been focusing on practicing faceoffs and doing a lot better. Maybe bringing Bobby Clarke in to help Schenn and Cooter would be benefitial.

I laughed at this, but for the wrong reason. By "glamor shots" I pictured players taking weak shots and smiling at cameras, like when they talk about "glamor muscles" on Sunny.

Reminds me how Richie and Carter "refused" advice from Clarke about face-offs. Wow that was a story...

If Couts wants to be that top selke guy he needs to be dominant on faceoffs. That's something he needs to work on.

That's good too, but I was thinking along the lines of where there was a fog machine, a rotating orange light, and the player was taking a blowtorch to the end of the stick, then looking up as if they'd gotten caught.

Now they have them putting on Flyer's gear in the locker.

They had a couple of strong shifts in the offensive zone, which is precisely what you want from your 4th line.

Why is that ? Rinaldo is an excellent 4th liner in my view........Cannot for a second understand some of the negative views on the lad......He is fearless, grinds in the corners and is a much better skater than many on here think...

Where are the stat about young players in their first few years' FO percentages compared to later in their careers? I know I've seen it before.

Strength is a big part of faceoffs, which improves as you continue into your mid 20s. Not worried about Coots/Schenn in the dot at all (wasn't at least the former really good in the CHL?).

Can Rinaldo take faceoffs? Might be worth a look of him at center in order to have his checking spread among both defensemen.

Rinaldo is a role player and he plays his role very well.
He hits like a truck, agitates a little, and still does not taking that many minors.
