Best assist ever?

I see a lot of threads for best goal, a few for best hit, and some for best save. But I've never seen a BEST ASSIST thread.

What would it be? I can't think of any off the top of my head, other than this one from Jeff Brown:

There was nothing special about that assist.

I dont have a video of it, but one of the Forsberg"QB" passes, where he lobs the puck in the air across the rink, and it land right at the players stick, who slips past the defenseman and has a breakaway.
EDIT: Meant Forsberg

Remarkably, this gem is from Luke Schenn.

I see alley-oop passes from time to time, but this was on the backhand, and timed it perfectly at the blueline.

Edit: That forsberg pass was pretty epic.

No video of it as well. But I remember a breakaway by Yzerman and he was tripped or hooked in front of the goalie, fell, and while falling, he made a no look pass to Shanahan who was behind him, tape to tape and Shanny scored.

EDIT: That pass was also during the time there was a rule for a red-line pass.
It was a legal pass because they both was in the same zone when the pass was made, it makes the pass even more epic.

The call on the play was brutal though, "and a score".

The famous Orr assist is pretty good. Pretty much the assist equivalent of Ovechkin's fallen goal.

Those "QB" passes are basically just luck. I would argue Iginla's pass to Crosby for the "Golden Goal" has the most significance recently.

Love this diving pass from Vanek to Ennis. Maybe not an alltime high, but a candidate for the best of the season?

I disagree. It takes a ton of hand-eye and vision to make those passes. One guy in particular who was great at doing that was Brian Rafalski. He wouldn't do them quite like Forsberg did, though. He would put the puck in the air right where a player could knock it down and go on a breakaway.

Spezza's play against the Jets last year to Turris was pretty great.

The impressive part about that assist is that he made Void Devereaux score.
