Commentator was so excited to announce the goalie interference there, ha Cleary. We need a strong kill here, Oilers have a lot of skill. Game's ours is we play smart and grind them down.

Stupid Cleary. He should be in AHL yet he is playing top 6 with Datsyuk.

Solid period. We're the better 5-on-5 team, just gotta stay out of the box.

I understand Cleary isn't performing... But you know what? I don't get the point of booing. Just replace Ryan Raburn with Danny Cleary.

Bottom 6 was pretty good that period. So was Z's line. Good pressure.

Datsyuk, stealing pucks like it's nothing.

They need to stay out of the box and shoot the puck more. They started the period well, don't let Edmonton settle down.

Hey, Jordin, lay another one of those epic hits on J. Schultz please. Thanks buddy!

Last year it was because of injury...which he elected not to get fixed. This year there's really no excuse. And we have like 18 forwards to choose from. It's not like he cannot be replaced.

I do not know if there were any good chances for either team. This seems like a game finishing 2-1. We'll see.|

Andersson had a good period. Not bad. Wish he was 69 though. It'd be hilarious.

Our PK would be so much better if we played Z and Pavel more regularly on the kill. I understand we need them for offense, but at this point I don't think we have much choice.

There's no excuse for shredding someone who's doing his job, even though he's performing at a level he probably knows need to be upped.

Can't believe the amount of penalty minutes this guy manged to rack up already. He's up to 20, that's 10 less than Tootoo.

Cleary is the type of player where you keep him on the team for about a 2 year stint and then you get rid of him. He's not the kind of guy you keep around the franchise.

Concur. Once Helm comes back, they wouldn't have to be used as often.

Why not, as long as you praise people when they do well also? Are you supposed to just be neutral all the time because someone is doing their job?

I don't see an issue at all.

I agree that Cleary isn't performing at what I expect him to perform. I vehemently disagree with calling him scum. You should read that blog post.

dude calm down man. It's the opposite jinx effect. And it's kinda sad that Datsyuk has absolutely no effect on Cleary's awful play. Ya know make him better. Cleary will still be Cleary even if he had Crosby on his line.

not a bad period

fast, but not very eventful. good amount of time in the offensive zone, but not enough good shots.

datsyuk again looks a bit slow and unaggressive.

oilers seem to be one of the softest teams.

Our defense has been great at breaking out of the zone the past two games. Looks like they worked on it during their quick hiatus.

We are seriously missing a top-six forward for Pavs and Fil.
