Ebel should have been dealt at the deadline last season...
Avery was probably going to be dealt regardless...

Seems fair...I can't imagine Cammalleri wanting to go much longer than 3-years...

They all do it for various contract leverage.



For Avery he's doing it to ensure 1 of 2 things.


1- To ensure he will have an NHL contract next season.


2- If he wins and the Kings don't want to pay him, they will walk away where Avery can go to greener pastures.

Can an arbitrator award a contract longer than one season under the new CBA?
