and if what you say is true about murray, the odd man out sooner or later will be irwin.
what i see once burns and demers are 100% is this
burns/vlasic
boyle/stuart
demers/braun/murray
irwin
What do you expect DW to do? Keep him in the press box for the season? It wouldn't surprise me at all to see him clear...not a huge need around the NHL for a player like him.

if he clears no harm no foul (especially with the new recall rules), but if he doesn't then it would of been better for petrecki to be the one riding pine, and send irwin back to play 25 mins a night in the ahl instead of riding pine in the nhl.

Can't be activated till 9:01am Sunday (Petrecki either clears or is claimed off waivers). Can't play today. Guessing he'll be in line up against BJs.

They sent down Irwin, he doesn't need to clear waivers.

So Irwin was sent down, yes? Too lazy to read through all the posts. From my skimming, I'm seeing yes and no.

You'll have to ask our Sharks "insider" Kevin Kurz for that
According to the promo, he goes way, way inside.

Wouldn't surprise me either way, but playing time over there might not be bad either since we can recall him at any time rather than sit. The pairs looked good today.
