It was Gretzky. Threw a 40 foot spinning backhand breakout pass to (forget who) and sent him in on a breakaway. There was no play to be made and he managed to make a ridiculous one somehow. If I remembered who scored, I'd link the YT.

Edit: This guy's got it covered

Granlund's pass in 2011 WC final is pretty sweet. Starts at 4.30.

I can't find video for one of the most ridiculous plays I'd ever seen.

Oilers:

Doug weight behind the net flicks it over the goalie, and Bill Guerin Catches with his hand, puts it down, then blindly passes it to a streaking Smyth who scores.

I think it was 1997? Can't remember though.

Yzerman to Lidstrom no look pass vs the Nucks in the the 02 playoffs

These two have horrible qualities unfortunately.

That one to Larionov is probably my favorite.

Yes. Just on another level of game understanding

Gotta pimp my WMU Broncos here. I've seen them score on this play twice.

The double one-timer.

Can't find a video, but the pass by Crosby when he receives the puck in his feet and gets control of it without breaking stride.

Nothing special but Forsberg - Sundin - Lidström - Goal
is Swedish hockey history.

I could watch that play over and over again for hours without getting bored. Absolutely beautiful.

That pass was so simple even I could do it (if I could stay on my skates long enough ).

Seriously underrated, it's sad.

He wasn't looking at the play or team, he used the glass (which most players dont have the IQ to do)
