Geez Clowe needs to pay more attention to the puck. He frequently doesn't see the passes coming or he sees them too late and can't cradle them.

Despite the score, I think the Sharks are playing a lot better than they have in a while. They're getting pucks on net, Niemi has been great, and I like the board work today. Sometimes the puck just doesn't go in, but they are getting good chances. Hopefully they will be rewarded in time.

The Sharks really miss Murray's puckmoving ability. That's why they can't score.

Tired of this park the bus defense that teams in the west seem to love

Yep. And his speed. Really helps the breakout.

Here's a humungous shock: Stuart looks so much better paired with Burns than Murray or Vlasic

Thats how these games are going to go.

Grind it down in the corner. Minimize their outlet options. Get the defenseman to turn around, find the open man, & get it on net.

Sharks are playing well. Just haven't cashed yet. Mike Smith is annoying as hell.

The More puck-movers, the merrier.

Going from the box score, it seems Burns is being worked up to game speed slowly (on pace for about 16-17 minutes).

People don't know this, but Stuart is the product of earring fusion.

Sharks have always had trouble with teams that play this style, the coaching staff just cant seem to adjust their strategies to counter them.

Makes sense, he looked good with Vlasic.

Do the "Mic'd up" segments really add anything to a telecast? I hear Drew talk about Couture being "into the game" and I think, isn't that the guy's job? I would love for them to get someone Mic'd up who is not "into the game". They might reveal a lot more.

Also, the Mic'd up segments make me miss 24/7. That's where the real mic'd up happens. It's genuine, real, and quite enlightening. These small segments are a decent idea, but don't entirely add a whole lot.
