I see his cap hit as being the only problem, his OT goal proves what kind of player he is. Danny B is clutch and provides excellent leadership qualities.

Yeah. For a player making his cap, you'd hope he could be self sufficient for offensive production. He isn't though. He needs players to create space so he can work.

In situations where he has space, he's pretty damned effective though. The PP is most productive while he's out there, if 5v4 GFON/60 is a reliable indicator. Let him get set up near the net or in open space and he can create offense. If he's pressured, he can't hack it.

Nothing against McGinn who has played well, but that line needs Hartnell badly. That would surely make some more room for G and B to operate in addition to Hartnell's being talented in his own right.

Sorry, I had to:

Edit: It doesn't help watching the chest sniping take place every regular season, but to have a player that "magically" hits corners when the games really mean something...

He'll be the offensive game plan for opposing teams?

Seriously though, a very nice move from Danny B in OT today. Hopefully he can keep some stuff like that up and find a little consistency because we need him badly this yr.
Haha, when he was going down that left wing I went "oh, ****, here goes another wasted opportunity with a shot blocked by a stick from the Carolina's defender", and was sure this is exactly what would happen, but he did make a nice play there. That's what he's here for, so keep that **** coming.
