One of the few positives on the night is how good gudbranson looks. A handful of excellent plays tonight with some great foot and stick work getting guys off pucks and making passes to get out of the zone.

He already looks like a veteran.

I'm really tired of this one step forward and two steps back ****.
This exactly. This Caps team is a shell of its former self. They look absolutely terrible. Ovi looks disinterested, the entire team is crap.

That said we didnt show up tonight for some reason, prob cause a 2-1-1 roadie sounds good anyway.

And Versteeg thinks hes #99.

Agree 100%. I can't stand when they do that.

Indeed, looking really good with Campbell. He's proving everyone wrong who thought he wasn't ready to play with Soupy.

As true as that is, I actually think we've had more scoring chances than Washington. Washington has done nothing special. Apparently they dominated the first five minutes. I didn't watch those five minutes. From what I've seen (which is the rest of the game), they've done a lot of nothing, but they have 3 goals to show for it.

Where is the Versteeg from the start of last season? Dineen needs to have him watch some comparison video so he will stop with all the attempted cute plays.

Yeah, but we haven't done anything special either. Those weak, long, standstill wrist shots won't beat anyone. Caps look pretty good to me. We've had trouble getting out of the zone for most of the night. They're getting really good looks.

Sorry that Gaga comment wasnt me coming to troll you. I actually watch most panther games. Aside from Bruins and Oilers they are my favorite team. I was just making a dumb joke because they mentioned the Gaga concert like 100 times this game.

No problem. As far as i am concerned with the game we played tonight resembling past decade of mediocrity its those sold out gaga, pink, and other overrated pop and teen stars that have kept us in business.

LOL. Just everyone try not to get injured for the rest of the game.

And yes Goldie, the caps do look like the team that has had a crappy start. We are that much worse tonight.

Spin it anyway you want, Theodore has not been good tonight either. And I like him.

Let's put it this way...if Clemmer plays this way, people are asking why he's in the NHL. The Capitals should not have 4 goals tonight. Period.

I agree. We need a goalie. .750 doesn't work, I don't think.

We beat ourselves, absolutely no jump, no energy, completely dry. Just awful, and that pos scores

Awful game, can't stand the top two lines, it was working the other way, just garbage effort.

We're not gonna win em all, u get that, but it sucks when you beat yourselves.

I agree. We lost this game more than anything.
