Maybe add this gif to the OP so its somewhat fair to leaf fans
Wasn't Gionta "jumped" as well? Was Bourque really showing he was going to destroy Orr after he jumped Orr?

One of our smaller players?

That means Orr can't go after anybody. The entire Habs team is small and the guys that can fight are rats like Prust.

I hope you guys love Armstrong over there. Komarov is what you call a real pest.

Orr charged for sure. No knee but it would have nearly killed him if he connected.

What's even worse is how Bourque paws at him with his left hand. Your initial reaction would be to think that someone is punching you so naturally you punch back.

Why is this even a thread?

Orr was just helping him have a seat. Funny as heck to watch that bingo.

Huh? Sure I can understand Bourque defending Gionta, but Gionta came after Orr first. If Gionta didn't want to get killed he shouldn't have charged at Orr.

I'm sorry, but what do you expect to happen when the Habs top line goes out of their way to piss off Colton bloody Orr? Earlier in the game, my roommate mentioned the possibility of Orr getting into the rough stuff and I said that no one on the Habs was dumb enough to engage with him, and then... Well, every red sweater on the ice had it coming. Bourque is lucky Orr didn't rip his arm off and beat him with it. Don't poke the bear.

Can we get the title of the thread changed? It's entirely misleading and grossly inaccurate.

Which might not be a problem for you, you will get the satisfaction that Orr kicked somebody's ass again. Driving the net is still part of the game. I didn't see Gallagher roughing Reimer whatsoever.

What happened before is that Orr got pissed whether it was because he decided that getting a knee out was similar to seeing his stick being thrown or because Prust took Komarov by the neck yet at to deal with a tough Grabovski who wanted so much to fight Prust, 'cause we all know Grabovski would fight anybody as he already prooved in the past. And Gorges CLEARLY wanted to go with McLaren. 'Cause Gorges knows he's a good fighter and knows that McLaren was just a little finesse player that can't fight so Gorges knew he'd get the best of it (by the way, do disregard the fact that I already address the fact that McLarent was "nice" enough to not throw a whole lot of dangerous punches towards Gorges, see it's not all black or white). As far as satisfaction...euh sorry. Not happening. Compared the threads in here and the ones solely talking about your team's good performances and you'll see what wins. 'Cause you guys know that you have more chance to goon it up way more this year than destroying teams with your high-end talent. A talent that is more likely in Boston now than in Toronto. But hey....you were the best team tonight. Enjoy. You deserve it. Just hope you will be careful with your expectations though....
I really don't think Habs fans are in any position to criticize an opposing team for "lack of talent."

Gionta charged at Orr, face to face. He knew what he was getting into. The only jumping that was done was by Bourque.

Posts like these where butt-hurt Hab fans try (unsuccessfully) vilify the team that absolutely schooled them make the win so much more enjoyable. Please make more threads like this.

wait why is no one complaining about COLTON ORR going after Brian Gionta like that? He's so tough when he's playing a team without a real tough guy.

Not because that we don't look good that we can't analyse who doesn't look good as well.

Are you implying that Colton Orr would back down from a real tough guy? Are we talking about the same Colton Orr?

Colton Orr consistently puts guys much bigger than he is on their ass.
