Probably because it was Gionta who came at Orr?

Why don't you show prust going after Grabovski? And rewinding this a bit would give it more context, and, in so doing, would reveal that Bourque engaged Orr rather than the opposite. Stop crying.

'Cause big Gionta was ATTACKING Orr. Bourque was then trying to get Orr's head off, Pacioretty had actually gave himself some teeth marks, Gallagher was roughing Reimer all night's long, Prust was crushing Komarov's head, Pacioretty was choking Grabovski....I mean, we all know how the Habs can be butchers but never like that....Some fans don't have enough of the score, they are really inventing things on top of that.

1:10 of this shows the angle of the image. The contact is clearly at the skate.

Don't take a knife to a gun fight. Hockey gets rough sometimes so put your big boy pants on. Payback for Prust messing with the leaf's littles. Habs need McGrattan for their 12th forward instead of Armstrong.

Not a sucker punch at all. A sucker punch is a blindsided hit where the opponent doesn't see it coming. Bourque and an eternity to defend himself and Orr threw a haymaker it's not like he did a quick 1-2 jab combo which is a lot harder to prepare for.

Bourque had it comin'

Wasn't it Gionta that injured Reimer last year. Who knows? Maybe Gionta was looking at him funny.

Not sure if any rational person could debate this.

The contact is CLEARLY at the skate, but the INITIAL MOVE was with the knee. Orr MISSED. Reason why the contact was CLEARLY at the skate. Unless you are saying that it was REALLY Orr's intention to trip Plekanec with a skate on skate.

Finally a whole vid thank you!
1:25 makes me skeptical, still looks like a knee if Plekanec didnt get out the way

He moved his knee in when he got close, lol. If he wanted to go knee on knee, he would have.

Honestly it looked like he was going in for the shoulder, but missed.

Bourque came in to defend a 5'8'' midget who was in the hands of freakin Colton Orr. And an eternity? Have you played hockey before? Or are you actually watching it in slo-mo?

Would expect nothing less from him. Enjoy it while it lasts Colton, your type is a dying breed. You will be out the league in 2 years.

He would have? You do realize that players miss their checks sometimes or whatever they want to do. He missed his knee 'cause Pleks moved out of the way.

He moves his knee in, as the pictures have shown.

That's the "knee on knee" there is no need for the whole thing, this is your knee. Did Orr charge? Sure, but this was supposed to be a knee. Why do you need any more of it?

The Habs looked like a really soft team tonight. Orr and the rest of the boys really roughed them up.

He certainly wouldn't come at Crosby if Steve MacIntyre was in the game

thats what I'm saying. I know he's a tough guy but he acts like he owns the ice when he knows he's not going to have to answer to anyone.
