He actively moved his leg in, away from him, jesus.

And I stand by my words. Orr on that play could have got him on the knee, if he wanted to.

it really doesn't matter if it was a knee or a clean check. Its a 6-0 game and Colton Orr is out there taking a huge run at Brian Gionta? Sweet leafs. You guys are so badass

Why was he in his hands and does that constitute third man in?

He went up and grabbed the guy. The moment that happened he should've prepared himself. Bourque was grabbing a pissed off enforcer, what did he think was gonna happen? Orr would just be okay with it and they skate off go singing kumbaya and make sprinkly cupcakes together and hold hands? Maybe that's what nancy Habs players would do.

From the point he grabbed him to the point Orr hit him he had a solid 2 seconds to put up his dukes and defend himself or at least try and duck or dodge.

Again, that 5'8" midget (you're words, not mine) voluntarily skated towards Orr.

He missed a hit on Plekanec, after Pleks threw Orr's stick away.

Maybe the Habs skill players shouldn't agitate Orr in a meaningless game?

The punch doesn't bother me.

Orr going after Gionta though is ridiculous. That was ********.

Look at the picture. Orr's knee was actually turned in, away from the knee. If you were objective, you could look what a real attempted knee looks like. I'm sure there have been plenty you could reference

Not a sucker punch cause he saw it coming. Similar to the Tootoo/Robidas incident and the Walker/AWard one. So if you were fine with those you should be fine with this.

ok plekanec huge difference. Great thing you guys cleared that up.

Then he puts Gionta in a headlock. Glad I got the sequence of events cleared up. It completely changes the way I feel about it. Great work.

Honestly if the Habs player was anyone other than a Gionta like player, Orr probably would have been throwing punches.
