What a shocker, all the West games are going to OT... Won't be surprised if the Canucks/Flames go to OT as well.

Islanders lose their fourth straight. It really makes me angry to see the Oil and the Isles wandering in the wilderness like this.

Wow Flames coming apart. Do people really think we are still the worst team in the league?

We're not the worst but we're close. And the Flames are still better. They handed the Red Wings their jock straps.

I wasn't watching the game but holy ****.... 4 goals in 25 seconds for the Canucks? Am I reading that right?? That's got to be some kind of record.

Hah. That's what I get for checking the box scores on Sportsnet's website. They had four Canucks goals posted... all at different times between 8:30 and 9:01 of the 2nd period.

Man the Canucks are just on right now. Even though we blew the game against them I feel fortunate for the point we got.

And seeing the Flames lose is always a treat.

EDIT: Hahaha, some dumbass Flames fan just threw their jersey onto the ice.

So tonight is Schneider's second consecutive start after the Canucks rode Luongo for a little bit when they were struggling. Methinks that the Luo has a "For Sale" sign on him again. It's kind of scary to think that the Canucks might actually get something of value for him now...

I'm not watching the game but did another Flames fan throw a jersey on the ice in disgust? Somebody just tweeted that on my Twitter feed. Man, can you imagine how they'd react if they had to endure what we're going through? They're probably burn Cowtown down.

EDIT: I just turned it to the game and Hughson is downright giddy. God, I hate his commentary when he's calling the Canucks.

Standard operating procedure calls for Hughson to not wear pants while calling a Canucks game.

I don't know what Irving was doing tonight, but he certainly wasn't playing goal.

It was ridiculous how small he made himself in net all night long. I don't think I've ever seen a goalie in that paddle down swimming position so much in a game.

I don't many, if any of the goals were his fault. The Flames defense couldn't stop the Sedins cycle and they looked even worse defensively than we have.

EDIT: Yes MV. Another Flames jersey on the ice.

I'll have to disagree. He was pretty horrible tonight. All 3 of the 2nd period goals were a result of him playing small and out of position. The whole first half of that period - when he was swimming on almost every shot - I was thinking it was only a matter of time before the floodgates opened. We complain about Dubnyk going down too early - Irving is the type of goalie I see in an EA video game, the type where by programming glitch they get locked into certain positions which allow really easy goals.

Chicago could play sub .500 hockey for the rest of the season and basically be assured a playoff spot. Sigh, I be jelly.

Crazy how a hot start can set you up this season.

20 points in 11 games is beyond hot.

Absolutely. Firing on all cylinders. They are a team to behold right now. Can score with the best of them, and when they have to they can lock it down.

Detroit is definitely turning it on after a slow start. 3 game win streak now.
