Glad to see it.........He looked horribly slow the first 3 or 4 games and it was obvious that he and a few others just did not have their legs.....He looks MUCH quicker now and showing some jump !
Cool interview with Foppa. Interesting how he said he thought the Flyers will climb the standings and that they were a good team. Not sure if he was being polite or honest.
He also seemed unsure if he'd make the Hall of Fame because "there are many good players out there." I think he has the credentials.

He was crazy fast today and he and Schenn seem to be developing some chemistry
Giroux is getting crowded out, he's got no room to do his business. Therefore you put him on a line with people who make space. Try out McGinn and Simmonds.
Also, promote Knuble (who's really not doing that badly) to the first PP unit. We need some screens to encourage G to shoot.
I have a feeling the JVR-Schenn trade will be huge for us in the upcoming years.
I honestly think it will be a good trade for both teams. I can see JVR becoming 25-30 goal scorer a year and Schenn being a good physical shut down guy on the blue line.
I'm pretty sure Pronger's been mentoring him too. 2 great mentors for Schenn.
Maybe it's just me, but Schenn has been looking like the player he was compared to when he was drafted - Adam Foote. Maybe I'm jumping the gun a bit, but Schenn's really looking like a top pairing defenseman, especially on the defensive end. The fact that players are now very hesitant in terms of going into the corners with him shows that he's getting it and others are noticing.
I don't know if I consider their line not meshing from the time they were put together as bad luck.
Briere has been around a 13%-14% shooter his whole career. He is shooting 6.6% on the year right now. He had ten shots in one game the other night, and 5 tonight. He looks how he usually looks in the regular season: stretches of both mediocrity and bad-assery.
Briere is going to be fine. I just hope they make the play-offs this season so we can see him and Coburn do their thing.
