Compared to Emelin Kaberle is Lidstrom defensively. You could see it as soon as Subban got back all of the creativity on the PP disappeared, Markov stopped his game and it became the "watch Subban shoot" show. He needs to be taken off that 1st unit, he kills the PP when he blast 4 shots that miss the net.

Oh, okay. Just wanted to make sure the masses knew - we have NO ONE who can stand up to the Leafs, Bruins, Sabres, Ottawa, etc.

Toooooo many smallish guys who are now becoming exposed.

Well after Toronto...

Bourque - Plekanec - Gionta
Pacioretty - Eller - Cole
Prust - Galchenyuk - Gallagher
Moen - Dumont - Armstrong

Desharnais is -5 in the last two games.....bench
White still thinking about his actions
I keep the two lines that worked intacts.
Called up Dumont.....we need some new energy right now.
Eller gave a lot of effort lately and played very well...will be better defensively than DD, so just that,,it's a plus right now.

And on the powerplay:

First line : Bourque-Plek-Gionta-Markov-Subban (That worked quite well)
Second line: Pacioretty-Galchenyuk-Gallagher-Diaz-Eller

You should be directing your comments to OneSharpMarble, as he is the vehement Kaberle defender.

I'll tell you something I switch Emelin and Gorges, one go to the left the other go the right. Gorges was at his best I feel when he was playing at the right of Gill.

It's time to put Gorges-Subban back together. Subban looks in shape and ready for big minutes again.

So Erik Cole is going to play on 3/4 lines, and be back up goalie?
Awesome.

Just hoping the Desharnais/Cole/Pacioretty line gets split. The Pleks line stays the same. Switch Pacioretty with Gally and Chucky seemed to actually work!

Galchenyuk isn't ready for big minutes. He's better in the defensive zone than he is in the offensive zone at the moment. He makes alot of bad plays, terrible along the boards and is soft on the puck. Maybe midway through next year, he'll be ready.

I didn't mean to equal him out as the first line, I'm just so used to writing Pacioretty first.

The Plek's line would obviously play big minutes, then I would give the Gally and DD line the same minutes (until one pulls ahead of the other).

I don't think that he's ready to play stronger oposition either, given how he's done against weak oposition. Pacio and Cole have been pansies this year, they haven't driven the net (apart from 2-3 shifts) and have been shooting from the outside every game. If anything, Galchenyuk will benefit more from Prust and Gallagher who have no concern for their own safety.
