Easy no from Boston. Hall is good -- hasn't been great in his early career, but Lucic is a unique player that makes others around him taller. There simply isn't another Lucic in the league right now. Hamilton > than Klefborn. Whitney has negative value.

Overpayment to Boston.
Hall>=Lucic
Klefbom=Hamilton

Don't really see the purpose either.

There's no reason a team like the Bruins would make this trade when they're playing so well. It would be a huge shake up.

I like the big swing but Boston says no. I like Hall a lot but Lucic is a huge part of what gives the Bruins their identity. He can score and brings the physical game. Hall will almost certainly be a better scorer throughout the rest of their careers but I don't want to trade Lucic.

I've never seen Klefbom play so I can't honestly comment on him. I know he's pretty highly regarded but there's no reason for the Bruins to move Hamilton for him.

I have no interest in Whitney, though.

This is a pretty decent proposal overall but the Bruins pass. I'm sure some Oiler fans will pass as well.

will answer from a Boston fan with NO. The two players from Boston are just simply to valuable to the team why would the Bruins do this.

Brutal trade for Boston.

Boston is not moving Lucic or Hamilton.

The 2nd in 2014 and Whitney is just useless fluff to the Bruins. So Hall and Klefbom for Lucic and Hamilton? No way.

A 2nd round pick is useless?

And Edmonton isn't moving our core pieces either.

"Brutal" is not an appropriate tag, when Hall and Klefbom are in the offer.

Easy no from Boston, probably the same for Edmonton. Both are far too valuable to their respective teams.

A second round pick over a year away. That's a step back when you're trying to win in the "Chara" window.

Whitney has been absolutely brutal this year. He may never be the same again.

Right now Hamilton and Looch make more sense than Hall and a player not in the NHL right now. Regardless of how good a prospect he is he doesn't help the Bruins now. It's one great piece, an awful salary dump and two futures for two roster players one being the best pure powerforward in the league and a fantastic rookie with sky high potential.

Makes no sense for Boston while they try and win now with Chara.

Bruins are trying to win a championship right now, a 2nd round pick in 2014 for a player that may play in the NHL in 2017 doesn't really offer an incentive to do this deal.

Uh Boston says no..First..They would never trade Lucic if they are doing well. He is a unique player: a hybrid scorer enforcer, corner man they likes of which you do not see anymore. Second, it is pretty soon to tell but I am keeping Hamilton. He is playing well and I think he will be scary when he fills out a little. Klefbom has some nice notices but Hamilton's got potential to be dominant....don't think he will be quite a dominating player but the potential is there.

I'd like to hear opinions on Klefbom. I wouldn't do the deal from Boston as Hamiliton as the best D prospect in the league right now however I've read the scouting report but never seen Klefbom.

I am a huge Oiler fan and I can't see BOS making this deal, Lucic is the type of player every team would want as long as they have a lot of skill in their top 6. BOS is loaded with skill in thier top 6. Lucic would be perfect for EDM but he is signed long term at 6mil and won't be going any where.

If I was EDM I would just go after Horton in the UFA market to add in the top 6. That would allow us to trade away Hemsky and Gagner to upgrade some size for our 2C. Hamilton is proving himselft in the NHL already while Klefbom has not.

As an EDM fan I would do this in a heart beat. BOS says no.

Common sense from an Oiler fan.

I am a huge Klefbom fan. He is the next great Swedish D-man in the NHL. Seen him play quite a few times, sees the ice very well, good with the puck and I would say above average passing skills

You'd trade Lucic for Bobby Ryan? I think you're alone on that one.

Ya, I get that Lucic is unique, but Ill never fully understand how someone could see him as more valuable than Hall.

To each their own I suppose.
