Funny because the last time I watched Conan the monologue was actually his best bit.

The one where he does a skit about Youtube, Twitter, and Facebook merging into one giant monolithic internet empire called:

Youtwitface!

Haha didn't he tell that joke when he was hosting the Tonight Show? I've been watching Conan for 15 years now, and trust me when I say the monologue has always been the weak part of his show. It was one of the reasons I was worried he wouldn't be great as host of the Tonight show. That show has always been big on the monologue. Probably more so than any other late night show. The interviews and the comedy bits are really where Conan shine, but if people turn the show off during or after the monologue, they won't see it.

That telenovella bit Conan did with guest Genesis Rodriquez on Tuesday had me almost in tears. She loved eating that turkey!

Love the guest appearances. Nick Offerman as Ron Burgundy was brilliant.

Andy's line when Kimye returned "home": "It's like an episode of Entourage, everything worked out."

Tina Fey, Nick Offerman, Adam Scott, and Jack Mcbrayer. Any other cameos that I missed?

Joel McHale, Jim Rash, Fred Armisen, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Also Seth Green apparently, but I missed it.

He was on during the Steven Ho segment. "Now I'm over here. But now I'm over here!"

That was the only time Deon Cole made me laugh.

Stopped watching religiously because of this goof's agenda.

Only thing funny about this show lately was the baby escape.

I didn't find the baby thing too funny, though it did have a couple "ha ha" moments. I don't get excited when they lead into it though. Bill Tull's (event) Tips, on the other hand, always crack me up.

Tuesday's Conan had possibly the worst and least funniest skit he's ever done, the Smell or Stroke gameshow. J-law saved that episode though.

Seeing I don't watch TBS to see any ads this thread is the only place I ever see Conan's name nowadays.

I think this is the same for a lot of people. My question for Conan fans is, did he make a mistake leaving one of the major networks?

It's not like he had much choice. After what "Chinzo" did, everyone would have thought of him as Leno's *****. Besides, when Letterman retires, I wouldn't rule out Conan taking that slot at CBS.

Really? I think his agenda is just to be funny but he's usually not. I don't think he's trying to use the fact that he's black to make some grand statement or anything. Is that what you mean by agenda?

I won't get into it as that would be for the political forum, I'll just leave it at what I said.

I'm not so sure that CBS wouldn't just go with Ferguson when Letterman retires.

So I watched this because he was in Atlanta, after giving up on watching him 2-3 months after he moved to TBS. Is that a typical episode for him these days? Thought that was really, really bad.

Not really. It's more typical of the shows they do during a tour such as this, though.
