That was a great strike by Barry. England could use his talents up front.

The Epl, Liga, Bundesliga and to some extent Serie A are pretty much settled already.

With Chelsea playing City next week the title could practically be over by the time Man United beat QPR. 15 point gap would be unassailable.

Eh, it sucks that Bayern's running away with the title, but the battle behind them has been incredible. Dortmund and Leverkusen should take two of the CL places, but really, Dortmund's the only lock after Bayern. The gap from 5th to 11th is one of 3 points, and they're only 5-7 points back of teams in 2nd-4th. Add that there's a lot of good soccer being played and the success in europe, it's been a very exciting year.

You have my sympathies but thats world football.

Ideally, Bale would have stayed with Southampton and starred there but the same structure of football you railed against allowed tottenham to buy him in the first place.

He was easily the best buy of the January transfer window just for what he did to the rugby trash alone:

The best transfer has to be Sissoko. Almost for free and he looks awesome.
