Looks like we might have another one with SJ @ ANA

Souray with a bomb that deflected as he shot and got up quick, for the goal. Hopefully it stays this way now...

Ducks held on SJ loses in regulation. It's just nice to have a game not go to OT

Former draftee Aaron Palushaj to Colorado. Skilled, smallish guy whose game hasnt translated to the NHL. IMO we got better value in Dago, but neither has secured an NHL career to this point.

Chicago vs. San Jose tonight. I hope the Sharks win, but if not, I really hope it's not a 3 point game.

The Blues got a higher immediate value in terms of goals-scored, but we don't know how effective Palushaj will be.

I disagree that Palushaj's game has not translated to the NHL. He has played only 41 games in the NHL, so it is way too early to tell if his game has translated.

Last season he played well. He had a role and filled it admirably for a rookie.

I think D'Agostini would be playing every game on most NHL teams.

It will be interesting to see what Palushaj can do in Colorado, I suspect he needs a top 6 role in order to be effective and I don't think he is good enough for that. He done well in Hamilton, so maybe now that he'll have a good centre in Colorado (if they sort the ROR situation) he might be able to translate some of that to the NHL.

Palushaj is the caliber of player you can get if you need wingers and the trade market hasn't opened up yet (because it's too early in the season to know who's out of it yet). If you want a player better than Palushaj you need to make a trade. D'Agostini is probably available in the right trade but teams would rather pick up a Palushaj for "free" than trade for a D'Agostini at the moment.

Going to the Blues-Avs game in 15 days – hopefully will see Palushaj in the lineup.

Should be a good Hawks-Sharks game tonight after the Blues game ends. If there were a way they could both lose ...

I don't really give a **** about the Sharks losing. I'm perfectly happy with just the Blackhawks losing.

Wow... 4 goals in 90 seconds in the Sharks-'Hawks game, 3 for Chicago. 3-3 with 13 minutes gone.

And of course The Hawks win in San Jose, 5-3. Kane 2 goals, Crawford 30 saves.

Espn is talking about a blown match penalty call on the sharks, funny how they were no where to be seen on the Backes call. Fine with me though stop talking about how good we are and leave us under the radar please.

Eklund just tweeted (haven't seen any other confirmation yet) that Tim Thomas has been traded to the NYI.

Conditional second in 2014 or 2015 for Thomas. Purely cap reasons that they have picked him up.

Any idea on the conditions on the pick? If it is just him resigning, then it is a great move from the Islanders.

Seeger thinks he might. Said that with Visnovsky reporting, they were over the cap. Thinks there is a chance, albeit a slight one, that he reports.

Did anyone else just see Fleury's reaction during Washington's goal? Absolutely hilarious.
