Hall, Gagner, Yakupov, Klefbom for Lucic, Krejci, Hamilton, 2nd rounder?

Hall-Seguin-Horton
Marchand-Bergeron-Gagner
Peverley-Kelly-Yakupov

Lucic-RNH-Eberle
Hartikainen/UFA-Krejci-Hemsky

Hamilton-J.Schultz
Hall >> Lucic
Krejci > Gagner (as of right now)
Yakupov >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 2nd
Klefbom =< Hamilton

Not even close, try adding Seguin+

Prospects? Yeah that Eberle is still a prospect with 76 points last year and 34 goals is a prospect

And who asked for a superstar in return? I didn't see Malkin, Stamkos, Crosby listed in any proposals.

Yes, Hall plays a north/south game but he plays it on the outside. He races up the boards and doesn't cut in on the D choosing the perimeter each time.. Bob Stauffer(Oilers Color Guy) thinks they move Hall to center next year. This would be better for hall as he would have to use his speed in the middle of the ice
I don't remember where i heard it, but im positive Hall said he is more comfortable as a winger and that would be his preferred position.

In short, your 4 young guns are still, for lack of a better term, "prospects", and still developing. Asking for superstars in return just isn't realistic.
What would you ask for if you had 4 Tyler Seguin's on your roster? That's pretty much the equivalent to Hall/Yakupov/Eberle/RNH.

Thats laughable.

Sure Hall might be the slightly better player, but for what Lucic brings. Id take Lucic over Hall any day of the week.

When you get the two best pieces in the trade (Hall, Yakupov) you usually win the deal.

I was commenting on the comparisons the other guy said. not to the deal as a whole.

RJ Umberger and a conditional pick.

Holy bias.... If Klefbom was so good why didn't anyone take him earlier?!? Yakupov is the only thats accurate. NO way that Hall is better now maybe in the future but Lucic is way more proven. Hall has had 2 pretty solid seasons but wait maybe 2-3 more then say hes >>> Lucic. I love these player ratings especially coming from the same fan base the ratings are coming from.

That's terrible.

Hall is worth a lot more than Lucic AINEC. Hall is essentially equal to Seguin. Would you take Lucic over Seguin?

It's telling that the non-Oilers HF posters think that Eberle > Hall, but the HFOil posters think that Hall > Eberle. I think perhaps the group that watches every single game of Hall and Eberle might know a little more.

Hall is easily one of the most underrated players on this forum.

I f Hamiltons so good why wasnt he taken earlier? because prospects progress after being drafted. Post draft Hamilton and post draft Klefbom is alot closer then pre draft Hamilton and pre draft Klefbom

That is ridiculous. Hall is a better player in near every facet of the game. Lucic's only winnable upside by comparison is physicality. Were Boston given the option to swap the two straight, they'd be foolish to refuse.

To answer the OP, and much to my chagrin, Kesler+. Neither team would make the trade for a myriad of reason but would be the demand - a fair one.

Hall has stated on a couple occasions before that if they want him to play center he would prefer to do it over a long stretch 20 + games and preferably from the start of a season. Something for the Oilers to think about.

He did say he likes the LW, I heard that too. I agree with him as well... I prefer him on the wing, one of his best assets is victimizing defenseman with his outside speed and creating space for his linemates.

Hopefully Stauffer is out to lunch.

he was 60% in that game.

I don't mind him taking draws but he should swap over to the wing after the faceoff.

I was going to say that too... We should test him out a little more because our top 2 centers are not doing the job and its kind of frustrating.

He will be the best of the 4 in a few years time (if he isn't already)

I agree that Hamilton >> Klefbom is more like it, but Hall is way better than Lucic. You'd be insane to take Lucic over him.

Hall is ridiculously underrated on this board.

Young roster player+top prospect+1st is an easy asking price for a young 1st overall. Any less is laughable.

Gardiner is the most overrated player on these boards as well. He is a 3/4 D man best case scenario IMO.

But its just the matter of time before Yakupov surpasses Hall. Plus he plays with 2 scrubs and doesnt get top ice like Hall does, so he wont put up great numbers. Yakupov is a much more skilled dynamic player.
