hey Ducks fans, quick question for my fantasy team. What do you expect out of Sbisa this season? I'm thinking about dropping Orpik (who I thought would have +/- and PIMs but is currently sitting at a huge goose egg) in favor of him. Any thoughts about what a realistic projection of his stat line could be this year?

I don't know if HF could handle that.

Nothing wrong with that, EA would say that's an accurate roster.

Tough road trip coming up. If the team is far away from last team, we have less than 24h to get to the game. If the city is very close to the last games location, we have 2 days off (St.Louis - Chicago; Chicago - Detroit).

wtf schedule?

I always thought we should call Lindstrom "Hamper."

I don`t like sitting Rakell at all.

They send down Devo because he needs to play and is only 20 yo. They keep 19 yo Rakell and don`t let him play.

Maybe they`ll keep him for practice a while and then send down.

I think he will play one more game then get sent down. This is a tough stretch so if we can give our guys a break one game I think BB will do it.

Otherwise I dont know why he has not been sent down yet.

Not really news but TFP said that nothing new on Perry's contract talks but agent told him they are meeting with Murray in very near future.

Hey guys, been very impressed with Etem in his first few NHL games.

Here are some of my thoughts: http://thehockeywriters.com/emerson-...gs-in-the-nhl/

Quote:
Having just seen Etem earlier in the period blow past Andrew Desjardins and drive towards the net for an excellent scoring chance, it wasn’t a total shock to see Bruce Boudreau call his number on the top line, he had been buzzing all night, but it certainly was a lot of responsibility to put on the youngster in a tie game late in the third period.

That's kinda BB's style. He puts young guys in key roles who he believes in. Sometimes they do great, other times they struggle. Just how he works.

ryans been really good lately since moving into the 2C spot. he's engaged, and active. our second lines a lot better because he's playing a lot better.

when koivu stepped up to 2c last night he was still really good. dont know what the lines will be against chicago though

Doesn't matter really since Bobby Ryan is already a King.

Baseless speculation by kings fans is always delightful, i think bobby stays as long as he gets some sort of NTC he'll want one after the trade rumors

Yeah if Bobby goes anywhere else when he hits UFA it's likely the Flyers. Kings fans are delusional.

How many fan bases are absolutely certain that Ryan is going to sign with them, now? Five?

I'm enjoying Ryan as long as we have him. I'm pretty certain he will walk the second he turns into an UFA.

How does next years draft look like? Just incase we do lose Perry, Getz, Koivu and Selanne? This is all hypothetical of course but I'm serious is 2014 draft any good? And if we lose Ryan my god.....

Very deep draft, especially up front. After the obvious top forwards (Mackinnon, Barkov, Drouin, Lindholm) there are a lot of other intriguing prospects who could be impact top six forwards. Guys like Mantha, Gauthier, Erne, Monahan, Lazar, Domi, Carrier, Shinkaruk, Horvat, Dickinson, Klimchuk, Hartman and countless others give this forward group a ton of depth. I'm already excited to see who we end up with this year.

Not this years draft heusy next years. If we lose 4 key players in off season this year were in FULL rebuild mode. I would expect Etem and Plams on top line next season if we lose all 4. But what I'm wondering what the next years draft entails as in talent. No team losing that much talent will succeed in the NHL for the upcoming year. So if we did lose all 4 I am wondering if there is any for sure NHL starting players in top 5 of the draft after this years. I'm drunk writing this so hopefully it makes sense
