Yeah I honestly just want to stay to put this season. I don't see any moves out there that can put us over the top this year. Just let the young guys get used to the increased minutes and see where you're at in the offseason.

I still think the Flyers should have found a way to get Voynov in the deal for Richards. He had played 3 full seasons in the AHL, at a high level, prior to that offseason without a single callup to the NHL. He was essentially blocked with JJ still in the picture. The Flyers may have had to add to the deal, but he would have been worth it.

Tyler Myers scratched for the 2nd straight game. Something worth looking into?

I believe he was benched a few times last year as well.

I can't find any link to back it up, but I kind of remember Voynov being a deal breaker for the Kings.

Devils. The Pens are extremely unlikeable. Individually and as a whole.

Sounds like the Carle I don't miss.

Seeing the fight in this Pens/Devils game makes me think Zac Rinaldo could beat anbody's ass on that team. Except for Engelland.

The Devils are rolling. Great team chemistry. You got to give them props. They all buy into the system.

Clarkson with 9 goals on the season. I know he scored over 30 last year. How the hell did this guy go from a plug to a goal scorer?

This devils team is unreal. Don't look at the back of their jerseys, look at how they play the game. They are so smart and they are never out of position. They will never get in bad position by trying to go for the big hit or forecheck too much. They play so smart and as a team its going to be difficult for anyone to knock them off this year.

Many of us Devils fans are wondering the same thing. He has an underrated shot and somehow the puck seems to find him near the net.

he can bury them in the front of the net and he is a forechecking demon. put some talent on his line and he makes their job much easier.

Who would've thought the Devils would look even better without Parise?

The Devils look scary good as they dominated the Pens all weekend. No way we're going to beat them in the playoffs if we make it that far. Gotta pick up a sniper for Giroux to play with.

That third goal on Rinne last night by Kane looked eerily similar.

Wow, you're not kidding! So that's how Leighton got injured; jumping up and patting himself on the back in consolation after seeing that goal. Kane seems to be making this a patented play.

If only we had had any other goalie in Game 6, the Flyers would have ... oh, wait. And please understand I'm making fun of myself with this statement as much as anyone else who posted/believed this.

Of course, I'm now sick to my stomach for the rest of the day. A case of déjà spew, I suppose.

Ek says we almost had Bobby Ryan at last years drsft...

The Flyers came remarkably close to acquiring Ryan (in fact for a few moments they believed they had a deal in place) at the last draft and have wanted to get Bobby in orange and black since he was a kid playing hockey across the river in South Jersey.

Would have been awesome. Wonder what would have been going the other way. Don't really want to give up Couts or schenn. Or may e it was jvr before we traded home for Luke.
