It's academic.
I would rather be a 9th place team and play like crap then be a 14th place team and play like crap.

Fistric was a +2 with 6 hits in almost 17 minutes of ice time. He better stay in the lineup, especially over Whitney.

I have never been so disgusted after a win. That was an absolute disgrace. Dubnyk is the only thing standing between this team and another 30th place finish.

A 7-0 loss is what this should have been and I wish it was. A win just masks all the obvious deficiencies this team has and lets Tambo keep his thumb up his *** a little longer. I hope those losers get bag skated.

We have no business even being the 9th place team, so what difference does it make. Gimme MacKinnon or Jones.

Load everyone in management and on the coach staff along with all our "veterans" into a giant canon and blast their ***** out of town.

Like it or not, if we are going to have any chance of making the playoffs, we're going have to win these dirty games. Lot of issues with our play, but at the end of the season, points from games like these will make a difference.

Gotta get more shots on net. Still trying to be too pretty, which has been biting this team. Just get pucks on net, and pucks will start going in net.

A win is a win! Happy with 2 points but we were totally outplayed tonight. Dubie was outstanding to night. We need to make some moves, we are so soft and easy to play.

Glad for Maggies sake and props to Gags for taking care of that fumling on the blue., it took away a little pain.

Hemsky and Gagner are the least of our problems., we have Horcoff, Smyth and Whitney still on the roster

Yeah, that'll cure what ails us. Add another promising young player and ruin him.

I think it's disgusting he's been sitting in favor of Whitney and Potter recently. He's miles ahead of either of them.

It's just factual. Everyone says Columbus is the worst team in the conference. They just ate our lunch today. So what does that say about us?

Yep.
We were just talking about this the other day here, how we need to win games sometimes as the team that doesn't deserve them.

I'll take the win, but hopefully every guy in that room knows you can't win like that in this league very often.

Outshot 40-14 by Columbus should wake somebody in Management up already. Who was missing today other than Horcoff and Jones. Doesn't matter if it is year 2, 3 or 4 of this rebuild, whatever it is, it needs some changing. And not promoting another assistant coach.

If Ebs and a couple others get their mojo back that changes pretty quickly. They're not as bad as they look right now. Those other teams you mentioned are.

Bring in someone who actually is half way competent at running a hockey organization.

I will take Burke even other the **** show we have now. He had nothing but crap to work with in Toronto.
