Exactly. I don't care what team gets what draft pick right now.

I want the Leafs to get the W every night.

We'll figure out which team gets what when we get to that road.

That's my thinking on it as well. Boston is an elite team and they are a for sure bet in the playoffs, Buffalo appears to be a bubble team that we could be battling with to the end.

IMO Buffalo is on the verge of totally imploding .. So much pressure on them to win and things just are going well now, they could completely fall apart over the next few weeks

If it were an 82 game season, I'd agree they'd probably rebound and make a charge ... But the short season will be tough on teams who consistently struggle

I hope so. They always seem to pick it up near the end, but like you said a shortened season is completely different.

Decided to watch the Rangers and Tampa game tonight on Center Ice and being a Leafs fan I always love comparing other teams to my own.

Stamkos was terrible. People rag on Kessel being a defensive liability but it seems this guy doesn't get any crap for being one at all.

Aulie didn't look very impressive either. I think Dave Nonis made a great move acquiring Carter Ashton. I think he'll be a very industrious 3rd liner for us in the near future.

Was impressed by Alexander Killorn the most.

Chicago's unbeaten in regulation through 12 games, and have played 10 away games to 2 home games (they were a much better home team in '11-'12).

Surprising about Stamkos-wonder if he's hurt-he does have capababilty of playing all three zones-maybe not Selke worthy, but certainly responsible defensively-doesn't sound like him to be bad in that regard

Looking at his stats at Hockey Reference (for what it's worth)his first two years were minus, but he's been a plus player since then-like I said, not Selke, but certainly responsible.

Tlusty with a 4 point night in the 'Canes comeback win.

Desjardins estimates that about 40% of the game is captured by Corsi analysis.

That's probably one of the worst moves Burke made during his tenure (and often gets overlooked).

Tlusty was a way better player than Paradis then and obviously now.

I'm not sure why he was moved, lack of patience, not "truculent" enough... and its not really like he would have a place here now...

But the value wasn't there at all.

Tlusty is nothing special IMO. Would be like a Mac here for us and wouldn't find a spot in our top 6. Possibly top 9.
