Should we trust MLS transfert or Frederic Lord?

Maybe the Red Bulls are trying to get rid of Henry to make some space for a new and younger DP?

There's no way the Impact trades Bernier. One of the best players last year and the only local player. He came back from Europe to play in Montreal. I would be completely shocked if that was to happen.

“@MLSTransfers: Sources telling me some deal between #RBNY and #IMFC are in the works” Relax, not Bernier.

So maybe something IS going on...maybe Arnaud and Mapp for some allocation money?

LOL at being transported in unmarked white vans WTH is up with that?

Good video, Rivas looks nowhere near ready to play

I wonder how much Eber is worth? because remember that only the top 20 contracts count towards the cap.

If we sign him for less that our 20th most valuable player = no cap change.

Using last year's numbers, all contract below Warner's $46,725 went uncounted.

If he wants to sign a dollar below the (probably somewhat similar) number for this year, there is no issue.

FYI, if we sign someone to a top 20 contract, it pushes another player down, so you have to factor for that.

EX: if we sign Eber for $100,000, the 20th contract will drop down(say $45,000) and so Eber would only add $65,000 to the cap.

Team knows all this of course. But we are only going to get the numbers in May when the union leaks em

Didn't know that. Interesting. Eber is still on tryout though. He doesn't have a contract, he needs to keep impressing (As he did in the last game) to earn one. Romero is the one that already has a contract (Loan deal from Brazil).

That video also showed that Schallibaum is no different than Jesse Marsch on the sidelines

I know, I was speaking hypothetically.

Because the word is that the team has hit its cap already. If we want Eber, (or even the big DP in June) we'll have to make room, and rules like that one can make the difference.

In fact, they're above the cap according to Matt Jordan. So if we want to take some players in, others have to go out.

They are obviously top candidates but there are also Valentin and Nyassi that could be added to the discussion.

Yup. Everyone agrees with you on that. Unfortunately, the reality is; Its easier to trade promising youngsters with Big Salarys than washed up (Depending on your opinion) veterans with high salarys

Wow this MLS cap limit is crap! We only have 1DP and 1high paid MLS player (Arnaud) but we're still over, that's just bull.:

Bernier when he read his tweets:
Lol, kind of, but like i said earlier no way someone who know is traded would put #imfc that would be just retarded and why would imfc fans be happy to hear about him again if its to tell us he was traded elsewhere.

Btw.. changing subject... does anyone else is annoyed on how Bernier runs with the ball like his arms and wrist are moving his hands are like dead.. sorry my english is poor so dont know how to explain it.. to say in french "ses mes sont comme molle" . I hate it. That is all. Lol

Does anyone else think Saputo stadium is pretty crappy compared to other MLS stadiums. It's as basic as they come. The funny part is it took them so long to complete it.

Sort of agree. Nothing really bad, but nothing really splendid. One thing that I think it edges other stadiums at is the proximity of the pitch and the sound. Everything seems louder @ SS.

I got to give it to Livestrong Park (I think they changed the name after Lance Armstrong going public though). Not too big, not to small. One end is probably missing some seats, but still looks great.

Philly Union got a nice one as well. Worse, by far, has to be San Jose

Yeah I visited many stadiums around the world, and I say SS is a candidate for the worst. From the field it doesn't look bad at all, but when you look at the structure from inside and outside, it's very basic.

Haha I never actually noticed that. I'll pay attention next time I watch him play.

Nothing wrong with your English btw.

Yup. Those stadiums have a lot of character. SS is just plain generic. San Jose has an excuse. Buck Shaw stadium is a university field not built for professional use. I also think they're planning a future stadium.

#MLS should confirm soon that Davy Arnaud will be a #RBNY for this season.
