Again, for now this is the scoring system. Nothing is weighted just every category offers a chance at a win. We might eliminate points and add something else but the rest will be 100% staying.

So.. just all these get you 1 point? There's nothing that makes one category more valuable than another?

All categories are equal in weight, and winning one would get you one point. So over the season, if you have won 20 categories, lost 15 and tied 5, your record would be 20-15-5.

That's kinda different.. I don't know if I like that really.
Stamkos at 2 is interesting. Personally, I would've taken him if I had the #1 pick or tried to trade down to 2 or 3 because I like Stamkos and Malkin better than Crosby. Crosby's obviously the better player, just a personal preference for me. Good pick at 2.

Having it like that allows teams to make the big comeback. Trust me, I've been in leagues that do all sorts of scoring and this is the best. Teams are never totally out of it. They can be out of the playoffs, make a few deals and have a few big weeks in a row and get in to the playoffs. If every week is only worth 1 win, it makes it near impossible to come back if you're 2 or 3 wins out. GMs tend to stop paying attention to their team and give teams easy weeks. This way, you're almost never out of it.

yeah I agree Stammy Will be a lock at the Richard year after year
So, it's Gobo's pick. He could be at work or whatever. Does anyone have experience with him? He only has 20 minutes to make his pick. If he's a quality GM, should we just draft Malkin for him and move on?

I'm gonna give him a little longer cause the Florida GM probably didn't pm him.
