4 Sale:

Kiprusoff
Bouwmeester
Glencross
Giordano

Clearance bin:
Cammalleri
Sarich
Comeau
Stajan
Smith
Butler
Babchuk

Could be had:
Tanguay
Stempniak
Cervenka (purely because he's on a one year contract, would rather not trade)

off the block:
Baertschi
Backlund
Brodie
Hudler
Wideman

Go!
If every team sold out after a big loss the NHL trade pipes would produce big $$$ for the moving companys, you do realise the flames were playing without 2 of their top 6 forwards and basicly a rookie goalie in net against a very good team at home on a roll.

I have never heard that comparison.

Style wise he is much more like Ryan O'Reilly or Brooks Laich.

He will never be Glen Anderson, sorry that guy just doesn't know what he is talking about.

It is nice to think of us getting guys like Glencross, Iginla, exc. for a Cup run.

But realistically your 100% right, no way Iginla is coming here, maybe lesser guys, but nothing that is a huge piece of your squad.

Ehhh, I don't know. I think we are just fine. If Zack Kassian can maintain the type of play he has brought (even if he doesn't produce as much) I don't think we will need that type of player.

Not interested in trading away Jensen for a rental, he is one of the few things we have to be excited about in the future.

A trade with CGY for Iginla is unlikely, but if it was made there better not be any of our best prospects/young players (the few we have) going the other way.

Them being a division rival is really where this trade talk goes off the rails.

What's Tanguay's contract like? This could work, for everyone:

to cal Booth, Glenn Anderson II (Gaunce), 4th rd pick

TO VANCOUVER CANUCKS: Tanguay, 2nd rd pick

God Lord no.

He is under contract with a NTC till 2016-17. And he is already like 32 or something.

Hmm good to know, scratch that proposal.

If they would do Ebbett and a 4th. Then the deal is done as far as I'm concerned. Even if he is a rental.

i think he wll be
imo the window to trade him is all but closed. I mean, they still can.... but the return will be nothing like it wouldve been a year or two ago. A 60-pt 35 YO is worth a lot less than 90 pt 33 YO..

I wouldnt give more than booth, prospect, 1st. maybe others would. Hearing some Boston rumours ..wonder what they'd give for Jerome in gold? He's still a great player, but the change to re-make the franchise by moving him (a la Jerome for Niewy) is passed, i fear...

You should probably think about trading that coach of yours. Never liked his "competences" and never will.

Send a message via MSN to c_mak
To Ottawa Matt Stajan and a 3/4th

To Calgary Colin Greening

1.Spezza's hurt Stajan is a serviceable centre not gonna block development this year of too many younger sens.
2 Regin is done for Ottawa and should not be resigned unless they can graft that adamantium stuff onto his bones so Ottawa may have use for him next year as well
3. Could develop into a Leaf killer
4. Wanna get in on all the Colin Greening hate

I actually think Edmonton is one of the few places Glencross would waive his NMC to go to. That being said he's a 1st/2nd line player on a bargain of a contract thru what should be his most productive years. It's going to take more than a 2nd to send him to a division rival.

Holy overpayment Batman!

I mean, I like Giordano, Iginla and Cammalleri, but I'm not going to insist on all three or no deal.

Stewart, Cole, and Rattie for Giordano and trash?? Comeau and a 3rd have little to no value for the Blues.

No need for the extra parts, Blues are only interested in Giordano.

Cole + Rattie. Cole + 1st. Possibly even Stewart + Rattie. Stewart + Cole would need a small add to Giordano in my book.

Stewart + Cole + Rattie could get the Blues a lot more than Giordano and some stuff we don't need.

To Pittsburgh: Iginla
To Calgary: Beau Bennett, 2013 1st round pick, Derrick Pouliot

Pretty big payment, I would take that for Iggy (not a fan of pouliot though, switch to Maatta instead and drop the 1st to a 2nd?)

Glencross and Giordano should be off the table. Keep some quality vets that are youngish for the kids to grow around. Other teams would also under value those two since they aren't big names, just like they'll overvalue guys like Iginla, Kipper and Cammy because they are.

I have no interest in moving Glencross or Giordano for less than Iginla since they are both better players at this stage.
