So how is he doing in OHL? Anyone seen him play? It must be a big adjustment for him as a small skilled player to come to play on that small ice surface and with the different style of play in OHL. He is 7+7 in 16 games which is pretty good, but how does his play looks out there?

From what I have seen on Youtube, I love the way this kid plays. Second in OHL rookie scoring on a middling team, size is an issue. Can any SSM'er give us some insight on how he looks game to game? What does he project in this draft? Thanks!

I would agree to that. I watched him last night and he was electric with the puck, size is an issue but he was pretty strong with the puck on his stick. Speed to burn, great hands and is very shifty, hes worth the risk of a second IMO

Ranked 118th on the North American skater rankings for Central Scouting's final list. Does a team still take a shot on this kid in the first half of the draft?

Please, if you bring up Larionov you will get a huge argument that derails every Russian prospect thread...just please..dont do it...

Love the way Tolchinsky manipulates the opposition on the power play... So quick, great hands/shot/speed. This guy has to be the most purest skilled guy in the draft IMO.

Mmm. The Barkov/Jones/Mac/Drouin/Tolchinsky sweep stakes.

Gotta love how when someone disputed him going that high, and instead (massively over-estimated him) ranked him as a late first, probably 2nd he was called crazy and told his beliefs were ridiculous (for not ranking him way higher than that).
