For a minute there, I thought he got the Pascal Leclaire disease.

Thank you Carlyle for the update.

And thank you Hockey Gods for not having it long time. Hopefully, he picks up where he left off.

Reimer's been lights out the last 2 games. I'm probably one of the most critical of him on this board and I' m not able to say much. He looks way more comfortable in net, he has his lapses but his positioning, rebound control, recovery have looked a lot better since last season/start of the season.

Reim's is a good kid, a team player even with the shutout other night, he gave the credit to his teammates, always got a smile on his face even when things aren't going his way, hockey gods won't let him stay out for long.

The Reimer update sounds promising. Hopefully the tests tomorrow reveal as much that it's nothing serious. Maybe let him stay back in Toronto and rest and hopefully he'll be ready to go when the team returns after their road trip to Carolina and Ottawa.

PHEW!

So glad to hear it's not serious. I expect him back in net Saturday against Ottawa.

Good news, but it'd be comforting to know what the hell was wrong.

He just had a little tweak when he was stretched out. It happens pretty often to guys like Lundqvist and Miller. Just got to rest it for a few days and you are back to normal. Kinda like when you are walking on ice and you do an awkward slip and almost do the splits just irritates your thigh, that's all

I got no problem with you taking a guess based off your experience. It's your post on the first page and the post I quoted stating your best guess as certainty. Passing off a best guess as though you have an inside source or an expertise in sports injuries is what the problem is.

No need for fear mongering, even if that's not your intention.

we aren't out of the woods yet

carlyle said 'we don't think its a serious injury or that he'll miss extended period at this time' that leaves some wiggle room

just wonder if they are waiting for tests tomorrow because there is too much bleeding right now

only thinking like this because i was trying to be so optimistic last season about his injury and the news just kept getting bad

The good thing here is that we only have 2 more games this week, so if it's only a day-to-day injury, the impact won't hurt as much as if it was last week.

Hopefully it's not long-term.
