Reimer's been lights out the last 2 games. I'm probably one of the most critical of him on this board and I' m not able to say much. He looks way more comfortable in net, he has his lapses but his positioning, rebound control, recovery have looked a lot better since last season/start of the season.
Reim's is a good kid, a team player even with the shutout other night, he gave the credit to his teammates, always got a smile on his face even when things aren't going his way, hockey gods won't let him stay out for long.
The Reimer update sounds promising. Hopefully the tests tomorrow reveal as much that it's nothing serious. Maybe let him stay back in Toronto and rest and hopefully he'll be ready to go when the team returns after their road trip to Carolina and Ottawa.
Good news, but it'd be comforting to know what the hell was wrong.
He just had a little tweak when he was stretched out. It happens pretty often to guys like Lundqvist and Miller. Just got to rest it for a few days and you are back to normal. Kinda like when you are walking on ice and you do an awkward slip and almost do the splits just irritates your thigh, that's all
I am happy to be wrong, but lets see the results after the tests tomorrow.
I got no problem with you taking a guess based off your experience. It's your post on the first page and the post I quoted stating your best guess as certainty. Passing off a best guess as though you have an inside source or an expertise in sports injuries is what the problem is.
No need for fear mongering, even if that's not your intention.
