Colton Orr looks much faster out there. That's the difference.

This is the 3rd franchise Brian Burke built. I have no idea why you guys fired him. He assembled this team. I am proud of Carlyle . The players are really buying in.

Wyshyski, who's he? This was barely a penalty, intact it was an excessive call that only warranted a 2 mins IMO.

They probably wanted to do it before a successful season made it impossible. That was my theory when it was all going down anyway.

He got fired for being a loud mouth. Also his record hasn't been that great because he held on to Ron Wilson for faaaaaar too long.

Think you are mistaken who RC likes, see the shifts he rewarded Orr, Mcclement, and Mclaren with. See who he left on the ice in the final seconds of the period, Not Bozak, Grabo, or Mcclement, who is now centring the 2nd PP unit? Selective tunnel vision we have...

With how well our D-core is performing... what do we do when Gards and Gunnar are ready to come back to the lineup?

Holzer has been producing offensively and looked decent despite that bad penalty tonight.

Frazer looks like a prototype NHL 5-6.

Kostka, Phaneuf, Liles I don't think will be going anywhere.

Franson has been ok but made some mistakes... can't underrate his ability to get the puck near the front of the net.

My guess is Franson goes to the press box to join Komisarek, Gunnar rejoins the lineup and Gards stays in the AHL unless someone plays themself out of a job.

My reasoning for Gards staying in the AHL over a guy like Fraser or Holzer (I'm not sure if I'd risk either of those two getting claimed) is that the Leafs aren't exactly struggling with offense right now... gotta keep the physical play up.

Rosehill is playing in Norfolk atm... so it's not just Ron who didn't belive in him.

I don't think Ron was a good coach but you're grasping at straws here. You'd be better off picking on his lack of any sort of defensive system. He wanted to play pond hockey, not NHL hockey.

I think Ron handled Kadri correctly as well. Kadri is what he is today because of the success he had under Eakins in the AHL.
I think you missed my post or didn't read it, how can Orr be anything but bad if he is out there for a fight and is sitting on the bench last year, I think he also scored a goal in one of his first games last year and Wilson benched him soon after that, so I ask you how can one be good if that is how you are coached?

This. I couldn't believe he got 5 and a game for that

On the bright side, that 5 min PK seemed to bring out the best in Scrivens, which is good to see. I want to have him looking solid, he just hasn't up until tonight.

Wow great comeback? Not that I expected one. RC likes Kadri more than Grabo from what I can see, already promoted to the 2nd PP unit, and he certaintly likes Orr and Mclaren more than Wilson ever did.

Game, set, and match. Bye.
