Price had a funny line about the TO-MTL game. He said : When it gets lopsided, the jokers take over.

I laughed because it's true.

We have 4 Olympic-caliber goalies: Brodeur (but only as a backup), Price, Ward and Luongo. Fleury doesn't look too good...

Are you trying to argue that Luongo hasn't taken his team to the playoffs farther than Carey Price?

Also, this isn't a playoff series. It's the Olympics. What happened last time Luongo was in a Gold Medal game in the Olympics?

...Oh.

I actually think it'll be between Ward and Price. Ward is the unpopular choice, but the guy has game and clutch game. It'll come down to those guys with Luongo still in the mix, imo.

...Oh.
Would you start Luongo in a game 7 SCF or Olympic gold medal game RIGHT THIS MOMENT if you could?

He was on the best team on hockey. They took him to the finals and he blew it......

Look at this picture and try and convince me he doesn't suck.

By the time the Olympics start it's going to be blatantly obvious that Price is the #1
He will start unless Lu is playing out of this world but even saying that he is still the best Canadian goalie there is atm. As for trading for him maybe King Henrik or Rinne? But having price I would never trade him or even look at another goalie to be honest. I'm a leaf fan saying that too lol. I am also secretly hoping in 6 years he pulls a Cujo or Eddy move and wears blue and white haha.

It's his job to lose, and he's doing a good job of raising eyebrows the last week. I'm sure he'll be fine by then.

After looking at the picture carefully, I come to the conclusion that he is indeed capable of it.

James Reimer, that's just hilarious. Carey Price and Roberto Luongo seem to be the most obvious choices at the moment.

If Luongo is #1 on his team next year I think he is starter by default, Price would then have to outplay him in the round robin games to start the medal games, pretty much like Luo passed Brodeur in Vancouver.

Overall, Canadian goaltending seems to be at an all time low at the moment. Obviously Loungo, Price and Ward are all good enough to win for TC, but Canada doens't seem to be the undisputed #1 when it came to goalies as it once was.
