This is pretty childish stuff. What repeating? I talked about Hordichuk in one post. Why do you insist that I'm repeating myself? And why do you mimic my last line? How is that viewed as respectful, or as anything other than childish behaviour?
As far as the claims that I've never been in a fight before ... really, how old are you? How is it possible to have a cordial discussion with someone who thinks on such a base level?
My claim was that Hordichuk's a middleweight (subjective), and that he'll lose more often than not against heavyweights (fact). He also doesn't tend to fight top heavyweights often (fact). I don't claim my opinion is fact: that I categorise him as a middleweight is indeed my perspective. But there are no facts categorising weight classes of fighters, so obviously that's a subjective opinion. If we add disclaimers to every comment we make, posts would be crazy long.
Anyway, this is all irrelevant at this point. I've proven that Hordichuk's not a very good fighter, and that he's often outclassed when fighting heavies. And he rarely fights good heavies at that.

You have proven absolutely nothing on Hordichuk's quality as a fighter, other than the fact that you rely solely on the W and L record from hockeyfights.
BGL won all of his fights. I guess by definition he's automatically more useful to a team than a guy who has a more modest record?

White is far from a scrub fighter. He never got manhandled and he rarely looks bad.

I'm pretty sure Bordeleau will just sign with the Avs, he just made a breaktrough in the league and will hang to any kind of opportunity to stay there.
why we talk about Boyle? The guy can't fight to save is life. Hall Gill look like Tyson compare to him. Both Moyen and White can kick the **** out of him. We should try to acquire Gallant and Haley so they could continue to call us smurf but it would be crazy. One smurf that can fight any heavyweight and the other who is the middleweight champ.
Schultz was a killer in Junior, just never took being a pro seriously and developed an affinity for cheeseburgers. He's not an option now, time to draft a guy like Samuel Morin for the future. Should be able to get him in the second round with one of the 3 picks. Adds a whole lot of size, nastiness and skill from the back.

I wrote 'good' heavies to identify those that were legitimate heavies -- not that they were good quality. I ought to have clarified why I marked it as " 'good' ". The differentiation between 'good' and 'bad' in that listing had more to do with categorisation than with quality (Rupp, for example, is a 'heavy' according to size, but he's really not a heavy enforcer in the same way as a Parros).
Hordichuk doesnt fight quality heavyweights often. And when he does, he loses. On his fight card over the last few years, he's fought Kassian three times, Reaves once, Carkner once, Thornton once, and McGratton once. He lost each of those fights. He beat Orr, but it wasn't a definitive win. On the whole, he's pretty clearly overmatched when fighting big and/or quality heavyweights. I don't see why you're disputing this simple point.
Saturday's game has not made me change my mind. Yes, the Habs need a heavyweight enforcer but not just anyone. Someone who at the very least, can skate and take a regular shift without hurting the team on the defensive side.
