good to see Colton in the post game interview - looked pretty happy and emotional about his ability to contribute/

I believe he has assisted on five of them.

Interesting how Holzers game translates up here. I was wondering last year when at Marlies games if he would get a shot. He really stood out down there as did Frattin, before his injury.

You have to give credit to the org (including Eakins) for the steady development of these guys.

Schenn is still a good guy. It's ironic JVR went around him like a pylon for the 5th goal.

Kulemin should have gotten an assist on Phaneufs goal. Perfect screen.

I think he put his right pad like that to try and save the puck bunjay. His momentum following JVR allowed the puck to go in. If you need any goaltending tips have a look on you tube, it was pretty basic.

Mark Fraser is now a ridiculous +11 on the season. I say ridiculous cause when's the last time a Leafs defeceman was a over plus 10. lol the guy's just solid, I don't even notice he's on the ice except when he's fighting, which I'll assume is a good thing for a defensive-defenceman.

Franson is playing really good hockey with Fraser riding shotgun with him. I don't know why people want to get rid of this guy. He's our best shooter from the point and should be getting #1 pp duty with whoever they choose to put on the other side. The guy just gets his shots through somehow.

Our defense is the deepest I can ever remember.

The Komarov, Kulemin, Grabo line just buzzes all day in the opposing end. They must piss off the other team like a group of gnats.

Frattin is legit. His hands are a lot better than I gave him credit for, and his shot is NHL caliber. Carlye has him driving the net more than he did last year and it's paying off. I just wish he would use his size more and lay some guys out, cause with that frame he could do some serious damage.

Kadri needs to get better at faceoffs, but him and Frattin have great chemistry together.

I really like Holzer's physicality, despite the possible suspension. He plays a smart and simple game ike a more physical and tougher Gunnarson.
It really helps when your 3rd line with Kadri and Frattin are playing like world beaters.

JVR wasn't going short side. He was going five-hole and missed, but because Boucher pulled his leg in instead of staying in the butterfly as he slid across the puck actually bounced off his pad and still went in.

Or how else do you want to explain the highest paid fwd being outscored by essentially 2 rookies in Kadri and Frattin thus far, infact Holzer is one goal shy of Grabo.

Spain, absolve, obfuscate away...Your move.
Grabovski is starting to resemble Bergeron and is solidifying his defensive side. He's proven that he could score previous seasons. In fact, he's made a few excellent that unfortunately didn't connect.

Saying that, if he's peaked offensively ( late-bloomer and 29, btw) and is going to developed into a Michael Peca, I'd take him. A player like Peca on the roster is going to make you a contender. Grabs has been played regularly and is critical against the opposition's top line. He's going to be fun to watch, imo.

It does look like he was going short side anticipating Boucher to slide over to cover the 5 hole, caught a bit of the pad, then went it.

Great atmosphere today, awesome to be a part of.

Really impressed with our 4th line, the third line was great as usual, and grabo's hands are so sweeeeet.

I was crazy upset about reimer's injury, and I have all the faith in scrivy, but you have to keep in mind that he is a rookie that is very inexperienced and he has not been depended on heavily. He still has to show a consistency factor which might come in now if he gets some consecutive starts.

Its hard not to get excited about this team and this winning streak

I like Grabo, but he plays nothing like Peca -- Peca was a beast at laying out those hits.

On a side note, I felt Mac's slapshot from like 5 ft awy from the Flyers net was something of an exclamation point on the night

He did get an assist on the Phaneuf goal, because he was the second last Leaf to touch the puck.

It was actually a double screen. Kulemin was right in front, and Grabovski was staggered so that Bryz had no way to look around him.
