PAP looked totally confused at the Avalanche curse, clearly didn't research the increased chance of being injured playing on the Avs.

If that's the case, wouldn't you have lost one by going to OT? lol.

He's really worked on his skating, SOB. I've never seen him move like that.

Showed a little bit of an offensive flare to his game as well.

If you guys decide to move him at the deadline, what would the return look like? I'd love to see him in a Ranger uniform.

I think this team has been cursed with injuries ever since we had Jordan "made of glass" Leopold

We played well tonight for the most part our PP looked better but still no results

1. Varlamov has got to stop the soft goals early in games. This is flashbacks of David Aebischer all over. He settled in a bit then let in a softie from OEL. OEL is good and all but thats not Joe Sakic coming down on the wing. Unacceptable from Varlamov tonight. Hes gotta be better.

2. Zanon. Boy Zanon sucks. What exactly does he do out there? he cant score, he gets pushed off the puck and ***** by the opposition players in front of the net. You guys blame the ref on the OT goal I say the blame lays squarely on Zanon.

3. Barrie. I thought Barrie looked leaps and bounds better then just about every D-man out there tonight. He didnt make any huge errors and made our PP look somewhat efficient. He needs to play enough with the press box.

4. SOB. Also had a good game. Didnt make any bonehead plays or take any dumb penalties. Solid game from him and did a great job on the PK

5. Matt Duchene better not be hurt. He did look tentative after he got hit by Vermette. That goal he scored tonight was electrifying thats kinda stuff you want from MAtt.

6. Pulashaj looked good imo. Hes got a pretty good shot but terrible balance. Reminds me of Svatos in that way. I hope he gets more of a look in the top 6.

7. Sgarbossa is still being misused. I swear at this point I would almost just ask to go to Cleveland.

8. Our PP had a chance to win us this game on 2 occasions and failed yet again. Yet Sacco does nothing. He still thinks Duchene is a threat 50 feet away from the net. You ****in idiot get matt off the point.

9. I hate Greg Zanon more then I ever hated Brett Clark. Atleast Clark scored the occasional goal and used his face to block shots

10. If Johnson is out I will support the Sherman tank so we can get Seth Jones in this hell.

I know people are ripping on Zanon and the referee for that goal. But, I really feel like our PP did us in today. We should have scored and been more proficient on the PP. That game never should have gone to OT. As well, I hold Barrie most responsible for that last goal against us. He didn't fight hard enough for that puck when it was loose in our own zone. He made Zanon have to make that play that cost us the game. I love Barrie's skill set. But, he needs to get stronger.

Stastny looks like he just doesn't care out there. It's not like his skill has disappeared, he just honestly looks like he's not trying.

But anyways, the ending to that game was comical.

I'm frustrated that they didn't find a way to at least lose in regulation. Getting that point puts us in 4th last - gonna have some stiff competition to outtank NYI/FLA/CBJ and apparently the Caps too at this rate.

Duchene was skating very gingerly after his injury. As for EJ, not sure what the deal is there but that amount of anger to me suggests that he could feel something was pretty wrong and thought that might be unable to play for a while. Not a reasonable reaction if it was a small injury.

Varly looked bad today, his confidence is already waning after playing behind this team for a few games.

Positives today were Duchene, PAP, Barrie, and O'brien.

Anyone notice that McGinn seems to be more and more like Jones the more time he spends here. Slightly off balance a lot of the time, braking for no one and ending up on the ice a few times per game.

I think we have properly assimilated him.

Meh, he scored and won the game for his team. I didn't see the celebration but no big deal if it was over the top. Nobody will make a big deal about because he's Canadian if it were Yakupov, **** would go down.

Most came back. EJ, McLeod and Bordeleau did not. EJ with possible head related injury, McLeod taken out with a dirty cross check, Bordeleau ripped his hand up on BizNasty's helmet.

He was as bad as I've ever seen. It's a lot worse than watching a guy like Zanon out there who just isn't very good at hockey. Staz is obviously a very talented guy who doesn't seem to give two ****s about winning a basic puck battle.

Just trade him. It'll do him and the team more good.

The problem isn't that Zanon sucks, he is an OK d-man. The problem is that he is exactly the type of defenseman that we did not need this summer when we signed him. We already have 4-5 suitable depth d-man who can hold a #5 and #6 spot and do a decent job there. The problem is that we have to force a few of our D-man to take bigger roles than they can handle. We saw it with Hejda in the beginning of last season and we see it with Zanon now.

Still about two months to the trade deadline. It may be the right time to sell on guys like Stastny and Jones.
