These guys are so even in my book, 24 year old Czechs that are a bit on the small side but that can score, play well on the PP and have some grit..ANd both were injured last year..Like I said, both on the small side and Prucha's reckless style worries me about injuries..DOn't think Svatos is as reckless...But Prucha has great realtionship with the current team..I'd keep Prucha too...

as reckless as Prucha plays, that's not what got him injured...he just got injured dodging a regular check

But he loves to be in the thick of things (and I love that)..which can be a problem at any time in the future if he continues the same style and doesn't grow (not likelly..)...I'm not putting the guy down, just a realistic concern

Pretty even, but I think Svatos is a little better. Prucha is still very good though and I'm glad we have him.

Svatos really is better, but Prucha brings such enthusiasm to the table. Head says Svatos, but heart says Prucha. As a fan, I stick with Petr Puck.

When you watch them both play...Svatos has more talent, is more creative with the puck, and scored a few more points in 8 less games...

I'd be shocked if Petr Prucha can reproduce what he did last year...he had a nice touch around the net..but I still don't think he's gonna be a big time scorer in this league...

Why, will his touch leave? will his tenacity? Will his shot? weill his shoot-out skill? The only thing to hold him back is injuries..

Svatos does play a more skillful game, Prucha plays a more intense and active one...Different players, but the stats and a results are as close to a wash as can be...

It would be a very subjective or even biased view to say that one is clearly better..

Obviously, it's an opinion..but I think 99% of Gm's in the league would take Svatos over prucha as far as upside for their career..

Absolutely..I don't think Parise will be a goal scorer at all..much more of a set up man..and hopefully in his best years can net 30 or so...

You're stil turning this into a Devil - Ranger thing..and it's not.Your just upset that I'm a Devils fan and I think that Svatos has a MUCH bigger upside than Prucha..I believe that he's just got more talent..plain and simple.

No. It's fine if you think Svatos has a bigger upside than Prucha. But you've done nothing to explaine this comment:

Prucha no question IMO. He has tons of heart and teams need guys like that. Not to put down Svatos but my pick is Pru! Lets keep the Devils vs. Rangers comments to ourselves gentelmen
