That's exactly what I want to know as well. For something that could begin this Sunday, I find it strange that there's no announcements yet....

Downtown Laval? I grew up in Laval, I never knew there was a downtown!

Korpikari coming over for the camp! They must be strongly considering signing him. Mikus coming over too!

S. Kostitsyn will be there, O'Byrne, Latendresse, D'Agostini, Aubin, Price, Fischer, Maxwell, White, Carle, Chipchura! Should be good times.

Only 1 try-out though eh? :s I guess they'll invite more to try out prior to the rookie tournament, perhaps?

You know you could have simply posted the names of both metro stations..

but since you give me the choice, I'll go with the one minute walk.

The problem is with any Metro comes a bus ride.

you can go at Vendôme (orange line) take the 90 west and exit corner of Saint-Pierre and Des Erables, walk east for 1 minute, the arena is near a baseball field you can't miss it...

OR

You can get out at Angrignon (Green line) take 195 west exit corner Saint-Pierre and St-Jacques, go north on Saint-Pierre till Des Erables than east for one minute and so on...

Enjoy the visit

Fréchette had a decent season last year...could be a nice addition to our depht chart...

And I think it's the best group f prospect since many years...I'm impressed!

Korpikari plays for my hometown team Karpat, so i been able to watch he´s development quite closely. So far he´s been disappointment to me. Last season he didn`t take any steps forward in his career, one reason of course was that Karpat head coach didn`t give him enough icetime during the season. He biggest weakness is lack of physical game, he don`t check enough, he could throw good bodychecks but he dont do that all. AHL could be next important step to he`s development..

i actually used to live right near the arena in st-pierre.

it's a **** hole area though.

you can also take the 191 and get off at st-pierre corner (right by the 20).

you can also take the 123 dollard (it's dollard before turning into St-pierre).

and yeah, you cant miss it as the stop is like 2 secs from the arena.

It takes about 20 minutes with the 195 from Angrignon
It takes about 15 with the 191
about 20 with the 90

but both of the first busses have REALLY crappy schedules.

the 90 comes most often (you can catch it at Atwater if it's closer for you).

so the 90 really is your best bet.

i personally hate the 191 and 195...

I would had Dulac-Lemelin to that cause he's not Habs property anymore

I heard then Grabovski sign with the Habs. I try to have the confirmation. I'll try to have it before tomorrow.

For the camp I hope we'll have a good coverage and a good camp for our rookie!

Anybody really know if the public is welcome and what kind of arena it is, is there more than 1 rink, how many people could you sit out there......

Habsurd,

You were right man, never though they would announce that camp actually 3 days before doing it, but they did......

Valentenko sure is in a hurry to show what he's capable of, isn't he?

We'll never see him.

I book the ice for this arena so i knew.... by the way it's a very small arena with only one rink that can sit a max of around 300, that's what they like i think, everybody can go to Verdun, going to Martin Lapointe is more of an adventure so less people show up...

Is it confirmed that it's open to the public, then?

I've been to a few development camps. It's always open, you just walk in and sit down. There are seats in that arena. Nobody will bother you.

It's been awhile since the last once I attended though. Maybe 2001/2002? Higgins, Komisarek and Archer were the standouts at that one for me. Komi and Archer looked great as a pair, they covered the whole width of the rink with their reach! Higgins showed his speed and quickness. Ferland and Lambert were also there, but did not impress me really. So was Lindhart, who I did not like at all.
