Hard to figure out what this team is going to do. All signs point to a Jets win so we will most likely lose. I'm going to stay positive, and hope the Jets solid defensive and systems play will continue. 4-1 Winnipeg with an EN goal... big Buff with a PPG and 2A
Go Jets Go!!!

For us I used the lines from last game (but added Byfuglien), but for them I used from their PGT:
*Too lazy, did not do their OnIceSh%, but it doesn't take a genious to notice that Giroux + Briere have been having some bad puck luck... but the rest of the team seems to be making up for that... too bad for them they don't get as much minutes
*there middle six looks pretty tough, although not every member is like that (some are holding others up)... Timonen is awesome, I don't know why they don't give him more icetime (age?)
LLW: The've been taking tough minutes and scoring pretty decently, but not out-chancing their opponents... but tough to do with missing 2/3 top3 D KJA: Soooo close to beating their match-ups... but their scoring is pretty good even with Jokinen on the line who has been on a severe 5v5 scoring rut (lowest OnIceSh% and P/60 on the team other than Wright)... All 3 of these guys are underscoring for the scoring chances they're making... even Kane PBW: Another line having a bit of bad luck offensively, but they are having no problem with possession. This line has #1, #2 and #3 in out-chancing their opponents. WST: Wright's not doing too bad, although unlucky on the score sheet. Slater is used as a FO specialist, so that will always kill him. Thorburn...??? En-Bu: BYFUGLIEN!!!!!!! Enstrom misses you!!!! No offense to Hainsey... Hainsey is a decent #4 but he's a real ****ty #2. Enstrom was very positive possession-wise until Byfuglien hurt himself (rumour has it trying to cross Bee strains) Ha-Re: Hainsey's stats should improve with Byfuglien's return and placed back in the proper role, and even more so when Bogosian returns (no offense Redmond). Redmond looks like he's due a bit of a statistical collapse, but let's hope we throw him to weak match-ups before then (ie: Bogosian returns) St-Po: OMG Postma doesn't have to babysit a non-NHL regular... YAY. With Stu returned to facing lower opposition, and Postma free to roam, this should turn out how we want.
Going with a Vintage Lynk prediction for tonight. This gem comes way back from the December 31st, 2011 game against the Toronto Maple Leafs:

So without further adieu.......
Jets win 6-1.
Ron Hainsey scores 6 goals, then flies to NYC to grab the ball before it drops and brings it BACK TO WINNIPEG spiking it through the earth at midnight.
Then in the interest of tradition, he takes Ryan Seacrest's line and yells "HAINSEY OUT!"
Much of the post may not have much relevance in tonight's game as it is not New Years, nor will there be a ball dropping at midnight. I just enjoyed the aggression I had coursing through my veins when I posted it.
Philly could be coming in here pissed after last nights embarassment.
Need to come out strong and dictate the pace.
Agree, but I think they can be as pissed as they want: if the Jets play their own game, they'll be fine.
Great looking GDT Benny!
One tiny suggestion: it looks like you output sections or slices of images - if (as Hammer mentions) you make them 350x300, the GDT's should work for everyone, including people that usually see the yellow "click here to expand this image". I should put this in the GDT thread - I had no idea how to do this hfboards-style before Hammer helped out either. It's easy to overlook.
This a tough game to get a feel for. Philly should be so much better than what they are showing so far. We are at home and rested, they are playing a back to backer on the road and coming off another bad loss. We are getting Buff and maybe Bogo back. Everything points to the Jets. But....we have yet to show we can consistently win when we should.
