Love the work the kids are doing.

Fraser, Franson, Frattin, Kadri, Mac A [this 5 play quite a bit together] are taking advantage of the shelter. And they have above average skill that is being unchecked by opponents so they are having quite a good time schooling the opponents lol.

On the flip side, Frattin is one of the few guys who knows how to get open when Kadri has the puck, and he has full confidence in letting Kadri enter the zone with the puck and he gets open.

Thank goodness for the kids, can't imagine how bad things would be hurting if we were relying on Mac-Grabo production every night...

Kadri and Frattin create when they are out there, Kadri just keeps showing more polish to his game everytime I watch him.

He has the gift, Grabo works so hard, skates miles without accomplishing much, and Kadri with a few touches creates goals. Something that cannot be taught, instincts cannot be taught, as with Frattin too.

The puck seems to follow him around. In a way I see Leivo like this but more physical and perhaps less a sniper but playmaker, good players have the puck follow them around and Frattin and Kadri have this quality.

They should be on the 2nd line if not the 1st

Lupul & Kessel
Grabovski & Kulemin
Kadri & Frattin
McLaren & Orr

..An awesome duo on each line!

How great is it that we have Bozak, JVR, Komarov & McClement to fill in the open spots on this roster.

I love this Leafs team.

Alot of Kudos to Dallas Eakins

And to think Connolly/Lombardi would have started this season over them both if Burke was still around.
Their minutes are pillow soft. They're not bleeding scoring chances, but I'm only comfortable with calling them "average."

But dynamite offensively!

Imagine if they get a really good LW'er to play with in the future when Lupul is back (JVR).

I know but JvR is playing so well with Kessel! I guess this is a good problem to have

Frattin leads the NHL in even-strength goals (tied with Staal). He may well come back to Earth soon, but even so this year is a nice step forward.

Of course they're playing sheltered minutes but it's still impressive to see how they produce with limited minutes and not just the production, but just the overall performance. The two of them have a great awareness of one another on the ice...at least so far. In fact, I find that those two play quite a bit with Fraser and Franson (who I think also have great chemisty together). That 4 man unit in general (they work well regardless of who's the other wing on their line) play really well together. Franson and Frattin also seem to have a nice thing going. But that's what happens when you have a d-man that can get shots through from the point and a gritty forward that is willing to bust his ass in front of the net. Kadri's shiftiness on the ice is a catalyst for a lot of the plays we've seen from that line.

Overall, it's probably the line I look forward to the most each night because they always bring energy and they're the most creative line out there.

Because it's hard to give him a pass.

Anyways, they're terrific. Fixtures for our team going forward.

Funniest thing of all, people who kept bringing up a ROOKIE'S goal total in the NHL last year, well Frattin is on pace to score 57 goals (all EVEN STRENGTH!) if this were a full season. LOL! Nice hockey IQ critics, how anyone couldn't see this kid is a KEEPER, it speaks volumes.

Wouldnt it make sense to give them both more minutes especially on the power play which has struggled?

If these two can keep producing, along with jvr and lupul+kessel we should have no problems in scoring enough this season.

Seriously though, Kadri and Frattin are awesome to watch in action. I hope they can keep it up. Could have a couple gems on our hands.
