Budweiser Goal Light Lag Test

I did a little experiment today after receiving my Budweiser goal light. The add says within 1 second but it's more like 10+ seconds.

Just pause your tv for 10 seconds then press play your game will be behind 10 secs but who cares the light will be synced

Agreed a bit disappointed hopefully they are working out some kinks and it is going to get a bit faster! My wifi is full bars and I live in GTA don't know if that matters.

Assuming there's no lag, I think the budweiser goal light would be cool for like a couple weeks, then it'll just get annoying. But that's just me.

Well they probably have someone that watches the game and presses a button for them to light up, but they pay him in buds so he's a little slow at least he remembered

To be fair, the Official Leafs App on my phone takes ~5 minutes to send me goal updates, 10 seconds is pretty good considering everything that has to happen.

The pause thing is a good idea

I want a light, sucks how it has some lag but I kind of figured that would happen. Simple solution is to pause the tv for a bit to match it up better as has been mentioned. But then I would be afraid that the next time there is no lag and the goal gets spoiled for me

The pause thing is not a good idea at all, what if he pauses it for too long and the goal horn goes off before the Leafs even scored a goal

At least in my experiences, GCL is 30 seconds to 1 minute behind live TV as is.
