I'm pretty surprised at how bad the Blues have been. I didn't think they'd be as good as they finished the regular season last year but would be in the conversation for the division. They have been getting curb-stomped as of late. 25 GA in their last 5 games.
Hitchcock's teams seem to follow a pattern of turning back to mediocrity in his second season coaching them.
But I still think it's just a bad slump and nothing more than that.

Without a doubt. Elliott's playing terrible but so is the rest of the roster, except for probably Shattenkirk and Pietrangelo.

Definitely, especially with the way is Elliott is playing right now (horrible). They should give Allen or McKenna a start. I don't think it is wise to let goalies work out of a slump starting every game.
The Sharks problem is that the real Joe Thornton is back and that is "No-show Joe". The Sharks sort of left Greiss hung out to dry. He did let in some soft goals. Let's just hope the Hawks don't fall into the same funk that the Sharks and Blues have fallen into.

Many are speculating 54 might be number to sneak into 8th place. Even if Hawks win at .500 from now on they easily make the playoffs.
