Both deals make Nashville a worse team. I really don't like MPS that much, personally. He just hasn't show much yet. I wouldn't mind getting him, but not for Blum+Smith...

The only deal I can really see between these two teams is Gaustad for Whitney.

Hemsky is a good player but he is a play maker not a goal scorer naturally. Doesn't make sense to trade away a young budding power forward for an injury prone playmaker. Fill one hole and create another.

What you say is true, but it seems like he's shooting more, especially in situations he would of passed in years before.

If we're shipping off our young guys, Preds greatest need is a 1C imo.

Not just this board, he is underrated by all the GMs in the league except Tambellini, and why does the "playmaker" only have 3 assists?
